Quantum fiber. No physical locations and the online cancel feature doesn't work. Anytime there is a choice between CentryLink and Comcast, choose Comcast

The guy hanging flyers on doorknob in West Brem today. Very unprofessional. Walked right past the no soliciting sign and then proceeded to argue with me when I opened the door and told him to stop. No soliciting means no soliciting.. So rude.

Just read through the reviews for this company. Not one good review. I've never seen that with any other company. I wonder if Centurylink aka Lumen Technologies even cares about providing certain types of old school service, like landline connections anymore. According to The Motley Fool, the corporation's struggling to turn a profit, which would explain a lot.
So, here my Centurylink aka Lumen Technologies story ends. We cancelled our landline service yesterday after 24 years, so long ago the company was then called Qwest. That meant our home phone number, which was primary contact number for all business, medical and other accounts had to be deleted from all those records. And I tell you, with some accounts that was not easy. So it's 5G wireless service only for us from now on.
But I want to re-emphasize how truly poor Centurylink's service continues to be. Our landline was mostly down for about two weeks which is why we finally cancelled service. BUT, both strangely and telling, during the sporadic times we got a dial tone and could both call out and receive calls, every single incoming call was from auto dialers using spoofed numbers. Think about that. The service is down and on the limited days it comes back up, the only phone calls are from scammer auto dialers. No friends or family. No prospective customers for our home-based business. No physicians offices. Just the scammers.
So along with unreliable service that more than provided justification for cutting the cord, so to speak.
Since we paid our final bill, Centurylink still owes us money for the downed service time. Once again I'd filed a complaint with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, which is just one of thousands. But they'll ensure we get a full refund for lost service, but it could take a few months.

CenturyLink is trash, they put a limit on speed to disabled peoples apartments and even go as far as to deny service after gaslighting for a month. I have had one problem after another with them, but suddenly claiming the new underground line broke, but just to my apartment is a new low for them.

DONT USE THIS PROVIDER.
I should have listened to the reviews. Scheduled for a tech to come out and drop off my modem because I’m not allowed to pick it up for whatever reason. They made me wait 8 days and gave me a ridiculous time frame of 8am-5pm which is the workers entire shift, so they pretty much told me, he’ll be by when he feels like it. I took the day off work and they never even showed up. Absolutely ridiculous. Cancelled my service and am going with someone else.

Century link and quantum fiber are both owned by Lumen Tech. If I could give 0 stars and report them to the better business bureau I would. They straight up have predatory business model where they are easily available to request installation of services and take your money. But actually getting service installed is impossible and it’s nearly 5+ hours of wait times on the phone to cancel service and get your money back. The button to cancel or even pause service is on their website but they made that link not work anymore and REQUIRE you call them to cancel this took me 4 days of 4+ hour waits on the phone before I finally got a hold of someone. Their sales team however is available instantly if you call the line but guess what the sales team won’t help you cancel service even though they can start it. Predators and crooks

CenturyLink is terrible. An appointment was set to install and they would inform me via email when system was up. I waiting all day just to get an email to inform me they were rescheduling my appointment. No explanation! Moving forward, we get service and continue to have issues. A week later I canceled services. Terrible just terrible!

Called to cancel, spoke to a lady she was so nice and I hung up confirmed it was cancelled and I'll get my deposit back. Well, I still haven't gotten my deposit and Everytime I call it says I'm still a costumer. It's also so impossible to get ahold of someone to fix the problem and now I'll have to go in to speak to someone to resolve the problem.?
