Mother used to work there in the 70,s and 80's. it was nice then, clean swimming pool and rooms. now its a Bates Motel.

Staff was friendly and room was clean. Close to shopping. Not far off the highway rates was good. I would stay again

If you even step foot on the property you will be greeted by a very unpleasant and rude staff. Never EVER go here. I'd suggest Oyster Bay INN if you are looking for somewhere to stay or ANYWHERE other than the Chieftain. -10/5 stars.
