I interviewed with Express Employment and through listing my latest places of employment, the recruiter asked me if there was a reason for my last few areas of employment were so short lived and then described me as unreliable. I developed nerve problems in my hands in my most recent place of employment, before that I was in a seasonal position, and the place before that let me go because it was an assisted living and I had a child services case 4 years prior so it went against their protocol since it was a case for neglect (I have long since been reunited and caring for my child.) I was in a two parent household and my significant other wasnt working, which made me the only provider in our household and it caused a great deal of stress so I didn't find work after the seasonal job, and so he found work and that explains the gap in my employment. Once separated, I began work again. I have been dealt some very bad cards and it has not been easy. Being judged for employment scenarios that were out of my control while im trying to get onto my own two feet is unfair and unprofessional. Even with my nerves firing in my hands, I applied for a job that wouldn't put strain on them.

Nice organized, lacks strength for keeping posted on time frames with contrats. Keeping clients employed communication also not good

No one was very helpful. I had to contact them to find anything out about potential future employers. Set up one interview and then I never heard from them again. Do not recommend.

I was hired for a job through express. I filled out my paperwork, did my background check and even did a TB test. I was told I would start mid week. I kept trying to reach the lady I was working with and could not reach her. I was finally able to get in touch with her the following Monday and was told the company I was hired to work for closed the position. I quit my job with the post office because I was lied to and told I had another job through Express! I would NOT recommend this agency and would not trust them!

It is really hard to grow a business without a bridge of one or two part timers to help you get enough work on the board to provide 40 hours down the road. I've been using express for a little while now and found some really great employees I want to keep on. In most cases I didn't give the office much notice that we needed someone and they were able to fill my request anyway so I've been very impressed. There are a lot of short notice changes in our industry and they've been very good at quick communicating those to new employees.

Following an interview with a potential position, recruiter claimed to have texted me several times to follow up on the position. These supposed text messages never made it to my phone so I never heard back. Reached out to recruiter after a few weeks to check in and got a surprised response that I never got the texts, and just assumed because I didn't respond that I wasn't interested in the position...At no point did the recruiter think to pick up the phone and actually call me. Extremely unprofessional

Nothing against Express per say.... They will put you to work rather quickly. The hours however at my "assignment" started getting cut more and more. I can't survive on $300 a week and the false promise of "the hours will pick up eventually". I had to quit and find a job on my own. I now like what I do, make more, have 48 hours a week, and commute 12 minutes.
