About Great Peninsula Conservancy
Great Peninsula Conservancy (GPC) is a nonprofit land trust that protects and stewards the forests, streams, shorelines, and farms of the Great Peninsula of Washington’s Puget Sound while working to connect people with nature. With roots dating back to the early 1980s, GPC has been at the forefront of conserving and caring for our natural landscapes. To date, we have preserved 12,500 acres of evergreen forests, salmon streams, marine shorelines, and community parks. Great Peninsula Conservancy protects land by creating nature preserves that we own, partnering with public agencies to create local parks, and by placing permanent restrictions on private land that help sustain family farms and forests through generations.

Fantastic Walk & Talk at Minter Creek! Gorgeous setting, informative, and excellent presentation! Salmon hatchery was so cool. I love learning all about what GPC is doing; so good to hear uplifting news these days.

Working with GPC was a complete pleasure. We had the privilege of working with Eva on a project in Mason County and the whole process was a breeze. Eva and the whole team behind GPC have been great to deal with and we look forward to being a helpful resource for them, as they continue their efforts across Western Washington.
