Well, I can not believe I am writing this as I have been with Hearthstone Group now, for many years, and with Mike who has always done a fantastic job. However, unknown to me, last years' charge to me almost doubled. No, contact to inform me of this. Now, I see they have changed, and no longer have Mike working there, and seems have become another big company. Sad to say, I will be looking for another Firm to do my taxes.

Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I have used their service for many years with great success. I have 3 businesses and they offer an excellent and timely service. I will not trust anyone else.

VERY POOR Customer service, they get you on a call, sell you services and false promises and never follow through. Not to mention they go weeks without answering emails, if they answer at all. I do NOT recommend using this firm. I have been a customer with them and NOT ONE TIME did they do what was promised. RUN AWAY!

Mike Lind has been taxed our Federal taxes for approximately 10 years; Tom White before Mike. Both men have been very professional; always being honest and ethical.

This firm was referred to me by someone I admire. And if you know your stuff, they may be for you. But as a start-up with little understanding of how accounting really works (in effect, you are working on your taxes year round), I found the firm to be uninformative and worse, unresponsive. That's too bad, because they do know their stuff - they just had a hard time helping me get ahead of the curve (a service I would've gladly paid for by the way). As a result, my taxes were never bulletproof, and I ended up overpaying for things like city and state taxes. Plus I fell into a Quickbooks quagmire.... which could have been prevented with a little guidance. Look, at the end of the day, I am solely responsible for my own numbers. No excuse there. But I was looking for a partner, someone who could help me on my business journey (again, a service I would have gladly paid for), and this firm was not the answer. The search continues....

We have been using Ball & Treger, now Hearthstone, for financial reviews and audits for a number of years. We have been very satisfied with their services. The staff is knowledgeable, diligent, and thorough which is what we are looking for in an audit. In addition, the staff has given excellent advice on the best way to handle several complex accounting situations. Finally, I give them high marks for their patience.
