Was told I had to be in therapy to take antidepressants, and was open to the possibility that it could help me while going through a stressful medical crisis. Had one great therapist, but they moved to a different job and the next person was just asking how my week was and telling me how to use basic organizational tools in my life, which I could teach the class on. High turnover of employees causes lack of continuity of care.Edit: I was told I must come in to redo my intake to see someone else, which is a walk-in only process that takes several hours.

I don't know what's going on with them, but I've left multiple messages and multiple emails and they aren't responding

You can't make appointments for intakes, which take several hours, so you have to take an entire day off of work to wait hours and likely not be seen. I've come back on three different days to get evaluated and been asked to come back 5 hours later to finish an evaluation. How is someone supposed to get care this way, especially folks who are trying to get/stay employed or don't have transportation? It's almost like they're trying to deter people from using their services. I get it. The healthcare system is bogged down, but this is just awful

I want to share my personal experience with Kitsap Mental Health and how it has been a tremendous help in my life. At first, I didn't realize that they could assist with housing needs, but they went above and beyond to support me in that aspect. Moreover, their expertise in mental health and medication management has truly made a difference in my journey. I had the opportunity to work with a counselor who truly understood that a job title doesn't define their ability to help and care. Through 6 months of level 1 drug prevention and drug and alcohol relapse prevention treatment, I was able to get back on track with my medications and have seen significant improvement. Though I still struggle with mental illness, I'm grateful for the support and guidance I've received from Kitsap Mental Health.

I'm glad there's options out there for low income families, but for my kiddo this just wasn't it. We were told they only do walk-in intakes, and we got there 15mins earlier than opening and still couldn't get in. But the teenager who cut in front of us in line was able to get in that day ?♀️ we were told to come back next week. I'll make the trip to Mary Bridges I guess now ?

They care about the money not the progress I am doing therapy I know my root causes when i started they wouldn't listen to me they wanted to tell me what's wrong when I knew they care about being correct more than they care about the person I've had 4 therapists and 2 counselor the therapist are a little better than counselors as far as counciling they are the most disrespectful people I've met and constantly break and push boundaries way outside their right to do so

When I first came here I told them that I needed to see a therapist. I went through this very long process to find out they actually don’t even have therapists they just have counselors. Which really frustrated me because I was told they had therapists.

I took my 13-year-old to do an intake to get set up with the counselor. When I went into the room for the first part they were having her sign all these papers and barely explaining them to her. So I said wait a minute let me read those to you before you go signing anything because I want you to understand everything that you are signing and if it’s worth signing. The gentleman turn to my 13-year-old and said just to let you know Washington considers you an adult at age 13 that can make their own medical decisions. Not only that but My daughter said that the gentleman asked her “if you get diagnosed with bipolar or a mental illness do you want us to not tell your parents?” Also when I called to talk to them today I asked them if they prescribe kids age 13 and up antipsychotic medication‘s without the parents consent and they said yes we do and they also informed me that if she doesn’t want us to know they will not disclose it to us. Therefore your child could be on medication you would never know and you would never know if they are suffering from a mental illness because they will not tell you. That is something extremely important for a parent to know. If your child is having a bad reaction to medication and you have no clue if they’re on it or sometimes the psych medication can mess you up more. It was such a disappointment that there is no way I will take her there. To hand a child a bunch of documents they have no clue that they’re signing is extremely sneaky and wrong. And they are children a therapist can just say to them this medication make you feel so much better and of course a child’s going to say OK. I would absolutely not recommend this place one bit for a child. Parents are a child advocate as well in the staff is very important for a parent to know.

This place is a terrible option for seeking any form of legitimate mental health care. They’ll run you through an orientation pretty quickly to get you set up with someone who isn’t even a legitimate therapist. They’ll make you see this person for months until an actual therapist miraculously comes along to help. I’ve been on their waiting list for months now. Not to mention they’re constantly calling to reschedule my appointments due to whatever unforeseen circumstances come along. I get it, life happens, but it’s clear that this place is severely underfunded, understaffed, and all around disorganized. Please only use as your last resort.

I get HR represents the company but they seemed really clueless. The recruiter barely knows the jobs. I applied for two different jobs and he said they were the same…how disconnected are they? The positions had different pay rates and vastly different duties. They also have no problem string you along but that’s most HR.There transparency and hiring process seems messy at best and it made me feel like I did not want to work there. Reading the other reviews and taking my experience into account made me want withdraw my application. This place is probably great if you’re part if the “club”

Been a long haul bit after 7-plus years we got Dr. Miller and she worked beautifully with my brother who struggled with psychosis, pervasive developmental disorder and Mosaic down's. Not an easy task. Not to mention dealing with me and I'm just plain post-menopausal grumpy from the struggle to keep my brother alive. Anyhow, the new meds seem to have really improved his condition. Yesterday he said he was feeling much better as he sang a tune and chatted happily and his hair is growing back in as well. Thank you. Also thanks to Juanita for helping him get in his family home which has helped so much. Too bad they are overwhelmed and understaffed. It would be better outcomes for more folks and maybe fewer years of struggle.

These people will soon pay for what they have done. Very soon something terrible is going to happen to them. I just hope that they can run faster than me.
