“My husband's health suddenly deteriorated to the point where he had to sleep in his recliner It was clear over the course of a few days he would not get stronger; rising from the chair became increasingly difficult, even with assistance. We contacted CHI Hospice. It was Friday afternoon before the first assessment by the palliative care team. To get the bed would take more assessments before an order would be done to authorize the bed placement. Estimate wait time 5 days. I called Bellevue Healthcare in Bremerton and had a bed for him within 2 hours. The management and delivery team were so kind and caring. I highly recommend this agency”

One thing they DID say (more than once) was, "What do YOU want to do?" and "What is the outcome you're hoping for?" This location was out of the way for our family, but we'd happily make the drive to be treated like people.”
