They are nice. Rates are good. App is fabulous. Their mortgage department has slowness issues but it got done.

Business account thru this bank. Last time we got a series of cashiers checks from them the teller told us to expedite things AND not be charged $5 per check, after the first 2 free, to use the app and they will just be ready and waiting for you to pick up when you come in. We tried that this time cause that sounded great. Unfortunately, the gal at the front couldn't help us even though the money was pulled from our account. After a couple minutes we got in the teller line to reorder them and figure out where our money went. Worked with Sarah I believe, with the facial piercings, in the end she too told us the party line 'yes this should take 'less than 5 mins when using the app' even as we were almost 20 MINUTES IN (in total including time with the girl up front) because she couldn't find the transactions, then told us she needed manager approval for them all being over a certain amount. After 10 maybe 15 mins at her window it finally got all figured out. Sarah I want to apologize for being so curt, I was very worried about our money being 'misplaced' and being told the wrong information about the app by you and the previous teller. Over all not a good experience and doesn't inspire confidence as a financial institution.

I went in literally 4 minutes before close and I was nervous I would get the cold shoulder for being there right before close, but it was quite the opposite. These ladies were so kind and were of great help to me. This is my new favorite location!

Navy federal messed up my mortgage twice but it's the fact that I can't call my local branch anymore it sends me to a machine then eventually a call center who refuses to send me to a branch is what is making me look for another financial institution now.

I called Navy FCU Customer Service and Erica was a very good customer service rep. She very caringly and thoroughly offered solutions to my problems and eventually solved my problems. Erica was personable and very professional. Thank you very much, Erica! I think though that navy fcu should make it more clear on what qualifies as a direct deposit in their instructions somewhere as far as the requirement for some of the checking account choices (some require regular deposit of your pay check or Social Security, etc.). I previously thought that a monthly transfer from my external checking account would have sufficed.Also, it was very frustrating in communication in trying to become a member. Submitting documents electronically was a nightmare because Navy FCU replied to me in "form" letters saying that they could not process my documents several times BUT not specifically saying what was wrong. I didn't know whether something was wrong with the transmission or whether they were the wrong documents. My phone calls on that subject were not productive as the reps I talked to did not know why my documents were not able to be processed. Apparently, notes are NOT kept as to specifically why documents submitted are rejected.And then I was annoyed that I could not transfer funds from my external account into my Navy FCU account via the Navy FCU website. It was frustrating that there is no error message when clicking on the choices - it simply doesn't respond. And you have to call to find out why (the answer was that the external bank has to initiate sending the money).But a great service is that I found out that you can call Navy FCU apparently 24/7!!! What other financial institutions can say that?

I just opened an account with Navy Federal last Saturday. They advertised they would send out the debit card THE NEXT DAY!!! They emailed me 4 days later to tell me my debit card is just now on it's way! I have tried every night to try and log into my account and it still won't let me. I have bills to pay and things to do and now I have to wait on them and their FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. With all their bad reviews I might just cancel.

I have been with this outstanding credit union for 6 months now, and I LOVE IT, and the way they handle Customers and their banking needs; it's almost as if the "Espree de Corps" spirit has been 'infused' into the folks who are there for you every day; everything almost has a military feel to it during the "line process feed" as it runs through the day... They sure beat all to ** 'H E double toothpicks'** outta every other so called credit union!! If you are not yet there as a member, you should stop in, and see what they can do for you!! Be Safe and Healthy everyone!! Happy Holidays!

I walked to this place from the west end of the naval shipyard, it took about an hour, I told the person who was assisting, Annie about the walk and she took it upon herself to get the bank manager to re route 20 dollars into my checking account because they were unable call a ride for me because of covid. All of this without asking. Outstanding credit union that values customer experience

I go here every once in a while. They got some pretty cool workers, they have some lame ones too. Parking is pretty limited to non existent. All and all for a bank it is not bad
