I have been coming to the Bremerton location for more than a year now. About seven months ago, I believe I took my dog in for her regular grooming, they had a new groomer there named Rain that cut my dogs hair. I was in love, and she did exactly what I asked her to do. I decided that Rain would be my groomer. Sadly, after that appointment, I was never satisfied again. Every time I took her in for some reason she kept cutting her hair shorter. I hate to complain, but I had told her a couple times that I didn't want it too short, but every time I picked her up from her appts she looked bald. I don't like to hurt peoples feelings so I told myself next time I come in I'm definitely going to have a talk with her about it....Today I had an appointment at 8 AM. If I ever have an appointment this early I usually wait by the front door since the actual store doesn't open till 9, but usually the person lets me come in and wait for my groomer to get there. At 7:50 A.M I waited outside, a lady (May) had open the door and said rudely "the groomers aren't here yet."I then told her that I had an appt at 8 AM and she continued to tell me that they weren't there. I let her know that I usually come a little early and she said".well unfortunately they aren't here yet" again, in a rudely manner. She seemed very annoyed by me or maybe mad that I was 10 min early and was waiting outside.? I mean I thought getting there earlier would be better? Maybe I'm wrong.?I let Rain know that I didn't want her hair short. She addressed it was cut the same length everytime I came in and it probably looks different because she no longer has her puppy fur.I understood and told her is it OK if she just keeps the length a little longer and she agreed.I went to get pixie 1hr20min later.and my poor pixie was SHAVED!!!!!! She had bald spots and patches of hair that she had missed. Looked horrible! I planned on doing a photoshoot for her and now that is definitely not happening! Im sooooo upset at this point! THENNNN I noticed they had charged me an extra $20 in fees.! I was aware about the $5.99 charge due to material fees but they charged me 7$ twice for unknown reasons. I simply thought it was a mistake and I asked the lady upfront (may) why I was being charged an extra $14. Of course she said in a rude voice "i have no idea you'll need to ask your groomer". My blood was definitely boiling at this point. Rain was nowhere to be found so a groomer and had to give her a call. She showed up to thee register and asked if I had any problems with pixies haircut. I asked her about thee fee charge and she said it's a new charge that Petco added on. I told her I've been coming there for over a year and a half and I've never been charged it before and if I could speak to a manager or someone in charge. Apparently no one was there to help? So they then told me I can call corporate and I asked them for their number and they said I can Google it. So unprofessional....I googled it and got in touch with corporate and let them know my situation and told them that they should let their customers know what they were being charged for before they charge them especially if I've been a loyal customer for so long. They ended up talking to a manager that was on the floor and that's when I realized it was MAY that was the manager which definitely angered me because she knew of the whole situation, and did nothing about it until I had to call corporate! Like what the actually FU*K! Apparently the fee is because of her hair length and also because she is a poodle. I've always taken pixie around this length every grooming appointment and she is a toy poodle. May I add she is only 6 pounds and not much to handle....they said poodles take more time, which I understand but, they literally shaved her so I don't see what kind of time they put into it and they also did a shitty job.!!! Ahhhhh!Corporate ended up waiving the fee for me and let me know that they will definitely talk

My husband and I came in and wanted to spend about 200.00 in the store for fish. We were ignored by Bug 3 times while she helped other people that were there after we came. We'd encountered her the day before asking to buy but told they close fish area at 6pm. When returning she ignored us and then when we asked her for help she seemed disgusted with us and told us we would have to have a setup for 3 weeks and recommended we get other fish we didn't want. We felt discriminated against. Disgusted and upset. So we went to another pet store and everything bug told us they pretty much said was a lie without telling them this is what we were told. Told we had to have a bigger tank set up for three weeks and eat way more which was absolutely hog wash. We knew small fish in that size tank overcrowded looked suspicious for that statement. Bug literally talked to us like we were disgusting and ignorant.

DONT shop here, they don't do anything to help you when trying to return products that are faulty! Because of "store policy" it's ridiculous that a product I have no need or use for because it was manufactured incorrectly gets to sit in my home using up space now and collecting dust. 100 dollars worth or storage bins those "vaults" for dog food and it literally doesn't hold 20 lbs of food which is incorrect marketing! Assistant manager is a POS who deserves a demotions for not knowing how to keep customers coming back instead now I won't ever be giving petco another dime out of my money.

Strangest group of employees ever encountered. Do not carry themselves in a professional manner . Cashier dressed like an otter and coughed in my face without covering mouth. Some of us have young children susceptible to the dangerous flu strain going around currently Putting them in hospitals.

The customer service was impeccable. Lately has become non-existent. I'm constantly ignored, and when someone comes to help it's like an in convenience to them. I'm going to have to go all the way to PetSmart because this place doesn't deserve my busy

the groomer was completely rude, had an attitude and was mad she had to brush out my husky's coat. she complained before and after to me, saying that he was "way too furry" and that I needed to come every 6 weeks to get him groomed otherwise I'm not taking good care of him and it's bad for his health because he's not getting enough "air circulation". i explained that I take him 2 times a year when he blows his coat and keep up with brushing in between and he's never had any issues. I take my dog to the dog park everyday, brush him everyday, take him once every other month to the vet for check~ups and I explained to the groomer that the vet has never said I needed to get him groomed more often and her response was "well they aren't groomers so they wouldn't know- we are" in a very rude way. I was shocked at the way they treated me, & although my husky does look nice, I will never be returning to this location.

I've only ever had terrible experiences here. They ask to set up an appointment but I am not sure why. The first time I took my dog in I waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes and there seemed to be no coordination on appointment times. I had a shot that required another shot 2 weeks later. On that day 2 weeks later they canceled the shot and notified me only a couple of hours before the appointment. I had intentionally not gone on an outing to get that shot.Unfortunately I did not learn my lesson and tried for a third time, today. I had an appointment at 4:36pm and they texted me that there was a cancellation and to to in at 4pm. I show up at 4pm and I wait in line for a bit. When I finally get to see the person up front they say that according to my appointment time there is several people ahead of me and she needs to see them first, so I can't even check in. Granted it is 4:14 at this time and my appointment is at 4pm and I still can't check in. I don't want to repeat the first time and wait nearly 2 hours so I just cancelled the appointment. This seems to be a reoccurring issue with them.

Second time leaving my children there for a spa treatment. My first wasnt too friendly and even then the staff did everything they could with him and he looks great. The second is a westie and Im obsessed with how good she looks. It was also the groomers first time doing a traditional westie cut and i couldnt have asked for a better job. Unfortunately, i forgot her name. I think it was Julie. Anyway, the staff there is so good. Id love to support a mom&pop shop but they were booked until a couple months out, but the people that work at the petco grooming facility are amazing. So friendly and professional. 10/10 would recommend.

Heartless. We arrived at 4 minutes after close and we explained out situation that the litter of kittens are dieing and there is nowhere else to buy PetAg KMR. I offered to just give her a round cash amount but just doing her job because the store was open for another customer after hour. Sad they couldn't go above and beyond

This is getting one star only because of the other person who originally helped us. He was amazing! Super sweet, helpful, great customer service. The women who checked us out however was very discouraging. Mainly rude. How she told my sister that her Chameleon was going to die was the cherry on top. This women was so incredibly rude and sure that we would not be able to keep this animal alive that it blew my mind. We bought everything she suggested. Some items they did not have at pet I even that we needed. Petco should really consider retraining this women.

I made our appointment for three dogs grooming a week ago, we gathered them up and took them in for their 1:15 appointment and they didn't have our appointment scheduled. They didn't have us under the right phone number, they didn't change our phone number to the new number when we called. They did ask us if we wanted to schedule a new appointment sometime in the next couple of weeks! We had had good service from Petco when we had a particular Groomer that took good care of our dogs for years. But she no longer works there. WE WILL NOT RETURN
