I have no words. Picked up our cake the night before our daughter’s birthday party and this was nothing like what we ordered from their catalog. And no one was there to fix it. We were devastated. I am not sure how they thought this would be ok.The manager of the store was super kind and gave us the cake and another smaller cake for free. He also let us grab some extra frosting to see if we can try and fix it ourselves. Still isn’t what we were hoping to have for her 2nd birthday party.I hope this person gets fired. I mean if you couldn’t do the job, don’t bother. At least call us and tell us that you couldn’t finish it.

Chicken strips here are pretty good when cooked right. They have been overcooked and undercooked before, but not enough to call it a habit. Two styles spicy and regular. I prefer spicy. The normal doesn't have much taste. It's got a la croix amount of pepper that is there enough to make you miss pepper. Boneless bar is good. Sometimes they let it stay there to long. There is an older mean lady who works in the deli. You will know the one. Just make sure she knows you aren't going to put up with her being rude for know reason at all. She gets pleasant real quick. I don't blame her... life is hard ya know. I like the beer selection.

I ordered a specially decorated cake for granddaughter's birthday and it wasn't decorated at all, plus the name was incorrectly spelled. What a mess. Stopped buying from their bakery. Birthday cakes are dry. The staff must be embarrassed to work there. Twenty years ago their birthday cakes were wonderfully moist. Now I have to go to Costco and get their too big cakes, because they're moist. Dread when husband buys flowers from here. He must grab the first ones in arms reach. The flower buds have hanging heads or rotted/moldy. Such a pain to trim prior to putting them in a vase. 15:years and the same problem each special occasion. I'm furious for them selling him these old flowers. Even when they trim the stems on the slicer for him, they don't tell him the flowers are on their last leg. They pick the old rose petals off so much it's a crying shame. As for my husband of 30 years...It's the thought that counts and I love him forever. That tall young man in the meat department is just so helpful, to the point of amazing. The workers here are wonderful and haven't had or seen a problem since that one cashier made a WIC user awfully uncomfortable years ago.

Safeway bakery has a nice selection of baked goods that Costco and other locations do not offer. Warm and inviting, you pass the wine and liquor section before hitting the bakery. Good deals available.

Products are more expensive at Safeway compared to other stores close by but they seam better quality wise. They don't have a self check-out section which causes lines to be busy every time I go to Safeway. Customer service is decent. I love there produce selection.

Lines are always ridiculous. They need automated check outs, but until then more checkers. I always go to Fred Meyer if I can - never a line!!

This is one of the worst stores I have found myself shopping at. Long lines and expired food. Twice I have brought home food that was within date but smelled rancid. I still found myself in this store due to location, but after tonight; never again.

Disappointing Chinese from deli tonight We've been getting Chinese from Safeway (and this store in particular) for years and have always enjoyed the consistent quality of the food. Well this evening was a disappointment. Not only were they out of several entrees, but the ones they had were not what we expected. Both the rice and chow mein looked and tasted considerably different than in the past. The sweet and sour chicken, which is normally a nice golden color and very crisp, looked barely fried and was mushy/doughy. I don't know if they had a new cook or what, but this meal was barely acceptable. Hopefully this is a one time problem but we'll have to see next time.

This was the worst tasting Apple turnover we've ever had! It was stale dough, very dry, tasteless and hardly had any apples in it. Won't be buying any bakery items from them for awhile.

I absolutely hate Safeway for the lines. There's ALWAYS a MILLION people in there and 2 or 3 cash registers open. HOWEVER, the ONLY REASON I continue to go to this Safeway is because of Bernie. This guy probably wouldn't know who the hell I was if I told you, but he is BY FAR THE MOST KIND PROFESSIONAL GENTLEMAN that works there. THANK YOU Bernie for being awesome. Keep it up.

This is a picture of a cake I had them make for me. It was delicious but was a hot mess. The bakery goods have gone down hill an taste like junk. The workers in the return suck at math and they have a calculator in front of them??? So in the photos I took are what they made and look nothing like the photo that was offered. Let's say everyone got a good laugh.
