Never again. I’m a disabled shopper and I had a negative experience at this store recently. I arrived during the morning hours when it’s mostly seniors shopping because it’s safer since I use a cane to assist my walking. Not only did I experience the rudest of people. I’m minding my manners always. Waiting for others to move through the aisles so that I can make my way and not have someone waiting on Me. One incident that stuck out to me was when I was walking around a corner of an aisle and two stockers with their hand cart were coming out of the aisle. I couldn’t move fast enough for them so the stockers became upset with me and proceeded to talk trash about me shopping there. I haven’t shopped in this store in over 6 years, now I remember why I stopped coming here. Nasty employees and rude shoppers. I’ll continue shopping at Fred Meyers instead, at least the prices are better if I’m going to have to tolerate impatient people.

Went to Safeway this morning around 10:30 and we went to the ice cream section for my favorite ice cream. Ben & Jerry’s half baked. I’m not sure who the gentleman’s name was who was stocking but he was more than happy to help us find it without us even asking ?. Really made our day, especially when he went to the back and checked for us. I was more than happy to get a different flavor but he went above and beyond. Thank you so much :).

Issues that irk me- never enough check stands open, long lines. Out of desired produce frequently. Checkers and customer service very helpful. Great personalized deals and sale prices. Rewards program was great but they changed it. Now it's just ok. Not excited about it anymore. Regular prices are too high for me now. Prefer to shop for items on sale only. The way the items ring up is confusing to me- difficult to catch errors at checkout; easier to check receipts for errors at home and deal with issues on next visit. Customer service desk closes too early every day.

The people are wonderful! But and I'm sure it's everywhere, things are getting too expensive! And last but not least you almost have to be a vegetarian in order to survive because me is outrageous, even if you buy soup bones it's ridiculously high. Don't get me started on potato chips, $5 in change for potato chips you're better off making them at home!

Please be very careful buying value corner milk from all Safeway s except puolsbo because they take care of their products!! However Safeway callow and McWilliams does not!!!! Bought milk from there on May 11th.. you can smudge the date on the gallon and it was curttled!! Cross made me sick!! It's like they stamp their own date on the value corner milk!!! I'll be shopping at Fred Meyer from now on.. because this is not the only time it's happened!! Food produce just irritating.... Especially when you don't have money as it is!!

I just wanna say, last night we were looking for a melon liqueur and called all these stores. None of them answered, but PAMELA at the Safeway on McWilliams answered, and she sent someone to check for us, thoroughly, because she didn’t want us to come all the way in and then have them be out of stock. When we were checking out, she was also our attendant at the self checkout and said “oh good you found it!” - I just really appreciate the little things these days - it might not seem like much, but it really meant a lot. Thank you Pamela - I hope your bosses give you a big fatty raise or a gift card or something because you saved us a bunch of time and you’re the best
