Guide was enthusiastic, and knew a lot about mushrooms, but I learned more about her personal life than about mushrooms. She was not well versed in how to teach, so those of us who were at the end of the hiking queue didn't get to hear about what she had found, and the mushroom being shown had been tossed into the woods by the time we got there. She might have been a sub, so check in with them about the instructor before you book.

What a great day. The guide was knowledgeable and very patient with all our dum questions. We found lots of mushrooms and received a ton of information.
I highly recommend it.

We took the Saturday morning Forest edibles tour with Nancy as our guide. We had a great time! She was so knowledgeable about everything in that forest. We already knew our mushrooms pretty well and immediately found some chanterelles, but I didn’t know how many common plants were edible or medicinal!
We topped off the several hour tour with hot tea made from the things that had been collected on the tour and it was delish.

We had SO MUCH FUN paddling around with our tour guides and fellow adventurers on Hood Canal Adventures bioluminescent tour! The sunset, and the wildlife, followed by the stars and majestic glow of the phytoplankton (as the night grew darker) was pure magic ? Would highly reccomend this tour! We cant wait to bring the whole fam damily to experience the magic next season ?

Bronte was a fun and patient guide. I took my young niece from California for a bioluminescent tour and she loved it. We saw some wonderful phenomena. It's totally worth it - educational and fun.

What an incredible experience! Our guide Brontë was knowledgeable and such a delight. I would absolutely do this tour again and will forever remember the sea full of sparkles.

The bioluminescence night kayak tour was amazing, but not singles friendly. I thought I would have my own single kayak, but was paired up with a stranger, which made for an awkward and uncomfortable experience as she was less than enthusiastic to be paired up with a stranger as well. Plus, you have to somewhat trust the person you're with. That aside, the guides were wonderful and the dinoflagellates were stunning. Would recommend for couples and even-numbered families, etc, but not for singles.

My husband and I booked the waterfall hiking tour, and we had the absolute best time! Each waterfall was stunning, the hikes were very beginner friendly, and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Every member of staff we interacted with was so kind and overflowing with knowledge about the area and passion for their community. We loved the pizza we had in Pleasant Harbor and exploring Brinnon after the tour. Can't wait to book our next adventure!
