“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – The Perfect Wedding Venue!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. This venue is absolutely stunning, every corner of the property is picture perfect, with beautiful farm surroundings that made for the dreamiest backdrop to her special day.

From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond. They were kind, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. Their experience and attention to detail took so much stress off our shoulders and allowed us to fully enjoy the day.

Another huge plus was the pricing, it was very reasonable for everything that was included. We felt like we got exceptional value without having to compromise on quality or atmosphere.

Our guests are still raving about the venue, and we feel so lucky to have found it. If you’re looking for a breathtaking location with a top-notch team and fair pricing, look no further. This place is perfect!”

“Had such a great time! The staff were incredibly helpful and so kind. The throwing was super fun and straightforward, even with a tweaked shoulder I was still able to have a good time. Would highly recommend as a fun family activity for all ages.”

“My Husband and I just had our wedding here on May 25th 2024. I couldn’t imagine a better venue for what we wanted our wedding to be. Mary is very helpful, kind, and wonderful to work with. Herself and the staff members there will do everything in their power for a smooth and beautiful day. They accommodated anything we needed or asked for. If any problems surfaced during our wedding day it was dealt with swiftly and professionally. Their prices are reasonable for what you get. We Especially loved that so much is included. They even have a storage room Of decorations you can use. We had their brunch buffet for catering and it was spectacular. Definitely reccomended using Summit Grove as a wedding venue! We will definitely be back for their Sunday brunches as well!”

“I came in on a Friday afternoon for my very first visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed my wine tasting. Keri, the Tasting Room Manager, was extremely friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasurable. My dog companion and I had just completed an 11-mile hike, and she was able to nap on the deck with me under sunny 57 degree temperatures. I am a Meetup hike leader, and I’d very much like to organize a group hike at Moulton Falls County Park with a stop at Pomeroy Cellars afterwards.”

“I can't say enough good things about Studio 4 and the crew there. I'm new to pole and tried it for fitness and as an exercise in body confidence and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. All the instructors are so supportive and body positive, I see women in class of all different ages, shapes, sizes, creeds and abilities and I feel the instructors make everyone feel safe and welcome. I honestly didn't think pole would be for me, but I love it so much and I feel stronger and more beautiful at 45 than I think I ever have before! Big props to Studio 4 for creating such a safe welcoming space.”

“So, I am one of those parents who "doesn't leave."  Yep, if my kid is there, I usually am too.  But, the result is I actually see what is going on at the studio (usually four to five times a week).  Here's what I can tell you:

There are levels.  If your child wants to stay in what they call "Fundamentals" that's wonderful, but you should know that it is a competitive dance school.  That means that while they do have Showcases twice a year for those Fundamental dancers, there are also higher level competing dancers at the studio as well.  Dancers can be invited to audition for one of the Company teams during evaluations.  If your child is on the team, they will be pushed as a dancer and will have a commitment for one year.  As with any other sports team, if you are competing, then the coaches will try to pull the best from the athlete.  As a parent I hope for two things from what our kids are involved in.  The first is that it brings out their best.  And the second is that it presents what we call "parenting opportunities."  Any activity that pushes a child presents opportunities to help them grow (up).

You get what you pay for.  Our kids are also doing other activities and I can tell you that the structure is the same and the price works out when you divide out the number of hours with the hourly cost.  Also, with Krav there are "testing fees" and equipment, and and and...  Let's face it, right now life is costly.  The higher the level, the higher the cost--and competitive dancing (if that's what is right for your dancer and your family) is expensive.  Go into it aware of that and prepared and it won't frustrate you.

I have never met a kinder and more capable staff.  Truly.

Has there been bullying?  I would imagine, yes.  Kids are occasionally children and like all of us--painfully human.  But, the MINOR situations I have been aware of the staff have dealt with it directly, immediately, and appropriately, and have used it as a teaching opportunity.

The school is incredibly diverse.  While my daughter wanted to dance at Groove Nation (initially) because she said it just "felt right" compared to the other schools we looked at, I liked it in part because there's so much diversity at the school.  Sadly, the PNW is not as culturally diverse as where I was raised and I wanted my child to be around people who look different from her, and act different from her.  She never saw the differences, and now because of this experience I don't think she ever will.  This is not a cookie-cutter school and I love that.

The owners, and coaches, legitimately care about the students.

The feel of the studio, if you stick around long enough, is one of comradery and encouragement.  I was part of the competitive dance world when I was younger, and I can tell you that I've never seen a dance group as supportive of one another as these dancers are.

We have now been at Groove Nation for years and I couldn't speak more highly of the owners, staff, coaches, or dancers.”

“I am a Marriott titanium member, but Lorraine at the front desk made me feel that I received a better service than at Marriott hotels. I had an issue with the delivery of an important package from overseas, and Lorraine genuinely tried to help me in any way as if it was her own package. Also, after I checked out, I got a call from Lorraine letting me know that I left a pair of socks in the room, which she could mail it to me. What a great service! The room was clean and the location was perfect as well. I am now an IHG member!”

“It's a fun little course, 12 holes. Also has a few other activities on site that look fun. The mini golf could use more holes! We drove an hour to check it out, unfortunately not worth the drive to visit again, not unless I get a hankering for some axe throwing at least XD”

“This place was awesome! Took our daycare group here and it was great. Wish there were some more soft balls (we had a very large group) and there isn't a water fountain but there is a water bottle filling station and they did give us cups for our kids! It was super fun!”

“How fun is this place. So normally we go to kids club cause it's closer but I have to say, Dizzy Castle is pretty great. It is much quieter and the food is good. The staff is so nice!! The kids have so many things to do and it's a safe entrance in and out which i appreciate so much. We will be returning here instead of KC!”

“My daughter and I stayed here 3 nights over the weekend. This was actually our second time at this hotel and I remembered we had a nice time last year but we were really impressed this time around! Our room was spacious and clean and we loved having 2 sinks, fridge, microwave etc. the staff were super friendly and accommodating and the property overall had a ton of helpful amenities like fitness center, laundry room. We would certainly stay here again next time we are in town :-)”

“Nice clean comfortable hotel. Nice view of the river. Friendly staff. Walkability is almost nonexistent. There are a few select restaurants within walking distance. However the light rail station is only a couple minutes walk.

Rooms: Clean and comfortable

Walkability: Not really. However the light rail station is just a couple minutes walk from the hotel.”
