Ordered a desk online and picked it up in store. The staff was friendly and an associate loaded the box into the car for me.I was also confused by Google as I was directed to the Staples at first. The Big Lots is open and located down the street next to LA Fitness. Until Maps is updated put in directions for LA Fitness instead.

This is a great place to go price wise. They don’t always have everything you need to get but they are close to Dollar Tree and Grocery Outlet, so I often go there when I don’t find what I need at those two places which tend to be cheaper.

Who ever manages this store needs to go asap. There are unopened boxes of merchandise everywhere. The store is filthy and I only saw 1 employee. Moldy Starbucks and left over McDonalds by the Christmas/patio section. Won’t be back.

I moved here from Wyoming and I love Big Lots. I don't know what happened to the management that runs the store in Burien WA but this store is a disaster. Shelves are empty, nothing is zoned, I have only seen a cashier in the store with NO Staff to be seen. The amount of freight in the back room is ceiling to floor and I can see that from the window of the door. Corporate must not care enough to stop in and fix it.

Worst customer service ever. There were boxes blocking the aisles, two clerks pushed past and totally ignored me. Only wanted to buy three items. At the checkout three people in the same party were buying large items. The clerk had trouble ringing them up. Another clerk stood behind another register and just looked at me. No "We'll be with you soon" or any acknowledgment at all. After 15 minutes I left. Will never walk in that door again.

If you don't have a membership you should sign up. Saved 15% today with a membership coupon. Sometimes it's 20% and an occasional $5 coupon for accumulated purchase. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was some plates on a high shelf and a team member got them down for me, with a smile.

Came to purchase a couch as another store told me they had 4 in stock- which they didn’t buy the manger Cornel went above and beyond to find one and have it shipped.His professionalism and customer service was outstanding! Thank you Cornel and Jazz!

My experience here truthfully felt like a fever dream. I don't think I would ever normally make a review on a store like this but I sure wish I was warned. Any how a little back story, came 30 minutes out to buy some furniture out local store said they put on hold for us at this burien location. So we came to purchase it. I wanna start off by saying the front desk associate was one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional people I have ever encountered. Their name was amberrosa or they go by tobi? Not sure but she was very much not wanting to assist us or ring us up asking us to step aside while she rung up a costumer that had came in after us, which is no big deal. But we let her do her thing and ring the other customer up. We then asked if they sold another item there she then said I don't know and proceeded to ignore us. We walked away from the counter area cause I swear to god I almost went off on this lady. I am not one to get upset with people in customer service as I have worked it before. But the fact that she was so disrespectful and had a horrible attitude from the get go was what set me off. Have some customer service or at least pretend, we all have had days I'm very understanding but gollllyyyyy. I would understand if it was busy or something but legit 3 cars were out front. Someone give that girl a chill pill or a new job.

Delivery. So I ordered this couch on Thursday and paid for delivery which was scheduled to be on this past Saturday between 8am-8pm. Was supposed to get a call on Friday to schedule a time for delivery, that never happened. I went ahead and planned to be home that whole day through the time period, since I had no idea when they would come or if they will even contact. So reached out to customer service at about 2pm that day, and was transferred to the delivery company which then said it would be deliverd tomorrow (Sunday the 21st) between 10-2pm. Another day where I just waited the time frame just in case they came, and just like the previous day there was no delivery and at this point that is crazy. You would think that when a person spends nearly $1000 on a couch. that the customer service would be great and that was not the case. This is probably the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever recieved when ordering furniture. It was almost like they didn't want to deliver and could care less about the customers time and lacking what they are supposed to be doing for their job. Now it's Monday, 5 days after ordering and no delivery nor update. It's crazy that when you pay the $100 for delivery online, and NOTHING has happened. I will make sure to never recommend Big Lots to anyone and will make sure that my story will be shared on all social media platforms, yelp, and whatever else I can find to leave customer feedback for.

I'm sure the store itself is fine although the company refuses to honor their own return policy. They shipped me a broken fan which was returned the same day and was not refunded for the delivery contrary to their return policy.
