Burien C.A.R.E.S. is an animal shelter with lots of cats and dogs to adopt or shelter while they wait for a home. The premise is very clean. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, attentive, and caring. They are hardworking, passionate, and helpful, doing a great job with very few volunteers. They are truly amazing and good with the animals, providing awesome and gentle service. People can see available animals on their site online. It is a great place to support, adopt from, or volunteer at to give back. They also accept donations of unopened dog food and other dog items. The parking lot is a bit of a squeeze, but they are a business that cares, as shown by their support for animals during crises.

The staff truly cares about the animals. Their health and safety comes first. It was an easy process to adopt my cat and the follow up for vaccines and getting fixed was great. Thanks for all you do!

Donated some extra food that our cat with IBD can no longer eat. They were very happy to get the donations and even helped with getting it inside.
