This is a friendly Goodwill, although I must say Seattle Goodwill's I believe have lost touch with their mission statement. The prices have become ridiculous at the Goodwill's in Seattle.

It's always a good place to get some cheap stuff with ok quality. The staff are friendly and hospitable. Before buying any thing online, I love looking for them in Goodwill. That's a good habit tho

Ridiculous prices in the last few months! I am not sure who is doing the pricing, but I just saw a $69 sweater that looks like it was washed in too warm of water. It used to be fun to drop in here but now I think I will just go to Marshals and get a new item for less money. I feel sorry for the poor people who actually need some deals. How do they justify pricing so high when it is all given to them? Then they have to ask if you want to donate more when you get to the register. Haha!

Rude and insulting employee. Worst Goodwill in King County. So you are pissed off I didn't round up for the training program. You obviously skipped the customer service lecture in your training program.

I don't know how these people sleep at night. I recently went in and purchased two sweaters and two pairs of rain boots (one pair without a price label) and my total rang up as $149. I was literally besides myself and asked how 4 items rang up so expensive. The lady behind the counter said each one of my sweaters were $30 the one pair of rain boots were $20 and the other pair of rain boots were $69. I asked her how on earth are they charging the community $69 for rain boots? She then said they are a fashion focus item (I don't even know what that means) and that their prices are considered consignment prices (again, no clue that that means either). This company makes over $7.4 billion dollars in revenue a year! The CEO make around 1 million a year. How are they even getting away with this. Oh and the cherry on top, was I was asked to then donate my change and round up my purchase for Goodwill's job training program. I then told her that my purchase is my donation since people literally give them their things for free as Goodwill then turns around and charges absorbent charges. She copped a huge attitude with me and then complained to her co worker as I walked away. Not sure I will ever support this place again.

After reading these reviews, don't think I'd ever ever go there. My friends and I like to thrift store hop.So true on Goodwill prices!? Get real! Dollar Tree items $1.99 or $2.99!!! There are other nice reasonable places to go. (One favorite Bella's Voice in Lynnwood) And DON'T donate to them cuz the CEOs? make millions. Donate where they actually HELP people and really make a difference.? Goodwills are just in it for the $$$$.Now the Goodwill Outlet stores are fun. Except they need to not put unsellable GARBAGE? out. Come on, there's a ton of stuff and good items tossed.Goodwill......get with it! You are losing customers and business.☠️ Word gets around FAST?

$20 for a pair of beat up sneakers that retail for $40. $20 for a generic button up I could buy for the same price at target. All for used goods they got for free. What an absolute scam.

First let me say I like Goodwill. Most of the time I visit the Dearborn location or Capital Hill. Today I was helping my elderly mother by dropping off times at the Goodwill close to her. Upon making a left into the parking lot I saw they have a designated drop off so I pulled up... no one greeted me but no big deal, I know the drill, everything goes in the blue bins and I'm on my way maybe 2-3mins... I had just put the 2nd of 3 bags into the bin when a worker comes out and starts telling me "you went the wrong way, you are the wrong way, how much more do you have?" I was confused and said one more bag and followed with "Isn't this the drop off area?" He just kept saying there are signs and I went the wrong way. Coming from the direction I went, THERE ARE NO SIGNS.... No wrong way or do not enter.... nothing... instead of yelling at people, maybe put up a sign and I will follow it. I will not be visiting this location ever again.

This goodwill has lost its mind as far as pricing goes. Probably the most expensive goodwill in King County.

Dear goodwill management—you should be ashamed.Who do you have pricing things here?Does anyone remember that this company is getting these items for FREE and then people are buying USED second hand items and then spending EXTRA time and energy to sort through and find said items. People who have a lower income are coming here to afford things that they otherwise could not and they do sobelieving that it is a lower cost and you are quite honestly ripping them off. You sell things at higher prices than Walmart and ROSS.A Ralph Lauren Polo sweater for $69? Used? If you somehow had a Luis Vutton bag are you gonna charge $2000 for it? My guess is yes…. Your slogan “Uncommonly good”is a farce.Goodwill management, you should be ashamed…

i just had an amazing experience here today. i was with my sister and she was shopping for some new clothes, and i was just looking around, not expecting to buy anything until i found a piano keyboard in mint condition for only $25. i saw a keyboard stand across the aisle from it, but it didn’t have a price on it. i went over to tell my sister, who was in the dressing room, and a woman complimented me on my shirt. i talked to her and she told me she started 4 days ago. i asked her about the keyboard stand and she told me to ask about it up at the check stand, and another worker told me they can give me a price for it. i went up to it for my things, and i was told that the keyboard and the stand were a set, so i didn’t have to pay anymore for the stand!! when i was going to find my sister to get the car keys, the woman came up to me and congratulated me on getting it, as i told her how i’ve been wanting one for a long time, and i went to my sister and said goodbye to her. she was so kind, and made my day. i didn’t ask for her name, but she had very short red, dyed hair and looked to be in her mid 30s-40s. all the staff were so kind! will definitely be returning!
