This shop did good work and gave me what I asked for a reasonable price.
Got my 2 SBC 350 heads cleaned and blasted, valve seats cut, Gasket surface decked, and new valve stems installed. Cost about 800$
Only problem was the time, originally quoted 4 days. When 4 days rolled around it became 10, when 10 days came, it became 13.
I had to call each time, instead of getting proactive updates and felt like I was getting the run around.
Overall, JB Aussie did what I needed them to do. Regardless of timing this would have been 4 stars if they could have just been on top of keeping me in the loop and managing expectations better.

Had brake rotors surfaced, and they told me they would be done in 1 hour. Called back in one hour, actually at little less, they were done, and I picked them up, got the job done same day. Great service.

Every auto shop in town said my Volvo discs were throw away. These are Zimmerman brand. They measured 27.7mm from 28.0 mm new, 26mm minimum. JB's machined them for 50 bucks and I replaced them myself. 50 bucks vs a 1000 bucks from local auto shops? JB rocks, use them, good work.Service: Brake service & repair

Brought a block here to have them bore and deck it, after a previous machine shop(Browns automotive machine) lied and sat on my parts for 2 months. They quoted me a week and ended up finishing early! Incredibly friendly people and great quality work. Will definitely be recommending them and using them again in the futureService: Motor building
