Stylist Tricia Over booked herself Leaving me unhappy w my results! Terrible .. I will not be returning and the way she operates is rushed and I’m sure anyone who is looking for quality time n results w their hair would not come here!

I absolutly LOVE this Salon, i have spent 2 years looking for a good stylist who does what i like, and i found her, Trisha is Amazing so if you are looking for a great color and cut that won't break the bank then go to this salon you will be happy you did.

Main Street Burien, this little gem has the local hair salon vibe. Perfect spot for my mom, they do all the usual cut, color and perms at reasonable pricing.

Called on a whim to get a last minute hair trim and Shawna answered the phone and was able to fit me in between her other clients. She was kind and personable, showing me the process every step of the way to make sure it was cut to my liking. Shampoo, trim and blow dry within 30 mins - I haven't been satisfied from a quick trim like this ever before! Awesome job Shawna!

Regarding Trish, the owner/stylist I work in the non-profit fundraising field (most of my career) and I work with people who are less fortunate. I thought long and hard about entering this review-because I really do believe in the best in people. I moved up here from California and looked for a salon that uses Goldwell or Wella. My nationality is Japanese and Black and my hair is fine, so I use products that may be more expensive but that I trust. I've been seeing Trish for a year or so. Once I let her know that I was going on vacation to Marthas Vineyard (my sister offered, a once in a life time trip) I made an appt to get my highlights touched up - and my family noticed that the touch up was a different color (brownish) I liked Trish and wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt (that she used my regular toner) so I gave her extra money to pre-purchase my color for future use (around $90.00). 3 days ago I went to get highlights with a root touch up - and now my hair is brown with brown highlights. I dont have any gold highlights AT ALL (MY USUAL COLOR). I got upset after my hair was dried and she said maybe the color oxidized. I asked another stylist her opinion - and she said THAT COULDNT BE TRUE. Please note, I care for two children (ages 3 and 4) and getting babysitting isn't easy. So, for me to have the appointment was a big deal for me. But now that I think about it, Trish has increasingly gotten mean, really abrupt when I try to make small talk. I remember one time I was at Studio 152 and her being cordial to other clients but basically shunning me. But what was I gonna do, I was in her chair. I just thought she was just having a bad day. Obviously, I will not be coming back to her again!! I HATE MY HAIR COLOR and have to wait to get it re-done because I dont want to damage it!! I TRUSTED TRISH AND SHE INTENTIONALLY COLORED MY HAIR WRONG. HOW DO I KNW?? BECAUSE SHE DID IT ONCE BEFORE. For her to be so bold and do this, says a lot about her professionalism. For her, it wasn't a mistake. I'm sure she is good to other clients, but this is the experience I had with her. If you feel a negative vibe from her, I WOULDNT TRUST her to do your hair. If I have breakage because the wrong product (not Goldwell) was used on my hair, then I will take it further. I hope this is helpful for other people. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED in what she did and who I thought she was!!

I had been going to the same salon on the other side of town since before the pandemic, but decided to start looking for an alternative. I came across Studio 152nd after a quick search and after seeing they were open on my day off (my previous salon hadn't been, so I'd have to either arrive late to work or leave early because of the bridge closure), I wanted to get some more info. Tricia called me back and we were able to get something booked with a wonderful stylist called Julie. Julie was fantastic and gave one of the best and most exfoliating head massages I have ever received. It was worth the price for that alone - and that price is more than reasonable, my friends! The price of having my roots done and getting a quick trim was seriously like HALF of what I had been paying previously. I'm so happy I found this salon and have already booked my next appointment with Julie.
