Montana and crew took special care of our family beloved 2000 Tahoe. It needed insurance claim work as well as much needed transmission work. Montana assured us that the work would be done right...and it was. Communication with us and our insurance agent was good. Glad to have Transmission Express in our community. We will be driving the Tahoe for several more years.
Follow up on post transmission service check up November 2024:
Montana and crew did excellent work to ensure our 2000 Tahoe was running as expected. Montana provides excellent advice and is true to complete necessary work. We will be returning regularly for oil changes and fluid checks in the Spring. So glad to have Transmission Express in our community.

Very honest, reasonable fees, and a company managed with integrity. My long time mechanic in Burien retired and this will be my new go to. Montana was kind, explained in detail what was found and done. Did not try to sell me any other “services”, made a few recommendations, and did let me know that these things did not need to be addressed now and did let me know what to look out for. He was great to work with and will definitely be going back!

We have taken all our vehicles to Montana and his team for the last 5 years starting with an excellent transmission service in 2019.We can highly recommend anyone looking for an excellent helpful auto repair and service shop to consider The Transmission Express team. We have one vehicle still on the road with over 425k miles thanks to Montana and his team.

Took our van in last year for a transmission service in Montana and the crew did a phenomenal job! Then today, after I knew that my transmission fluid was low after a DIY job gone wrong, Montana help me by ensuring that I had the proper level of transmission fluid in my truck! Thank you. It’s nice to know that people are willing to go the extra mile and give extra Customer Service these days. I will definitely be a return customer.

Super good trustworthly service. I do a lot of maintenance myself but when I cant i take it to this place. They do other work beside transmission too and Montana is great!

Montana was able to diagnose my transmission problem and it matched my web searches. The valve body is no longer made by Ford and they washed their hands of this version. Montana found one somewhere. He was able to flash my TC with the new solenoid SN's and it seems to work fine after a month. Would go here again.

Montana stayed open late to wait for me when my car broke down and needed to be towed to the shop. He searched for a better deal on the relatively rare part my car needed and fixed it fast. Really appreciate his work and care!

Montana and the crew at Xpress Auto Repair and transmissions are great. I have used them several times for transmission service on a Lexus and Toyota. I trust their work more than I do the Toyota service department. They are honest and do quality work.

This shop is fabulous. I was told by a very reputable Volvo repair shop that their sophisticated diagnostic equipment determined that my Volvo XC90 needed a new transmission for the shuddering of the vehicle when going uphill. That shop sent all their customers needing transmission repair to Xpress Auto Repair. After doing repeated diagnostic tests, Montana at Xpress determined that the transmission was not the problem, but instead it was a combination of the suspension, tie rods, tires and alignment. Xpress fixed the suspension and tie rods. Together with new tires and an alignment the problem was solved. From here on out, I will bring all my business to them.

They were very nice, got our vehicle fixed in one day and very accommodating and good communication with text pictures of bad parts etc and used text to send diagnosis and ask for approval to fix via text, so that was cool!! They did a great job!
