Merry Christmas Post Office Thieves!Shipped a package weighing 7.8 pounds that was full of presents. It arrived weighing 2.4 pounds containing 1 present.Since when did the post office stop including $50 insurance on all packages?Who takes dog treats and presents anyway? And my sil and myself both thought the purse left behind was pretty, but I guess to the Post Office thieves not so much. The package was left on my family's front porch which they immediately brought in. They have dogs that bark at everyone they see and especially when someone comes to the door, and they're always home, so the box was not left on the porch for more than 1 minute. (Also porch thieves take entire boxes, they don't sort through the contents.)Who do you trust when you can't trust the post office?

They raised their rates for worse service. The people who staff this post office are probably not to blame. Louis Dejoy's mission has been to ruin the post office and it looks like he is succeeding. My family has been getting mail at this post office for decades, so it's not like we can really change our address very easily. Let's hope things turn around once they finally get Dejoy out. If you were thinking about renting a post office box here, I would recommend the UPS Store near Safeway as a much better alternative. You can get mail delivered there.

Small and quite USPS. Nice and polite middle-aged lady working there. It's a good experience.

Absolutely amazing customer service and a really charming location/building. It has a small town vibe and the people are so kind and efficient. This is my favorite post office in Seattle.

Our Burien USPS is always busy: very high volume. Meanwhile, the reps at the counter keep the flow moving and manage to handle every question and situation coming their way. Love this location!

Third time I've been here during normal business hours and its closed again. At 1:40 in the afternoon. The sign on the door days "back at 1:30". The guy inside said we're closed. I wonder when they're ever open?

The postal worker was incredibly patient and kind, which was great because I had no idea how to go about international shipping. A few people came in while I was there, and they all were helped pretty quickly. I actually live near Renton, and came here because the reviews were so much better than my local branches. I'm really glad I did, and I'll happily come back the next time I have to ship something.

Don't listen to these other reviews honestly. It is my humble and firm opinion that I believe that this is one of the better US PS offices it is never busy here they have one or two people working it is a small post office and the lady who works at the front counter is very friendly I actually discovered this place recently it is so close to my house and definitely way more convenient also the workers here seem to actually like their jobs they talk to you like you're an actual human being. I will take this post office over the one on 148 anytime. Fast friendly and courteous.

Excellent post office, The staff here seem both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their jobs. Service is always swift and done correctly. The seahurst location should not be confused with the Burien one, in Burien the post office workers are rude and unhappy with their line of work.
