I don’t understand this new model of no teller services
I can’t drop a check off for my dad because I don’t have his debit card to put it in the ATM.

The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable they also have several ATM's inside so they're usually is not much of a wait. They also have a toll-free line that you can reach for help which I have used several times when I've needed to get help with my password.

I don't have a problem with hiring minorities or people of the LGBTQ community. However when the guy who greets you at the front is wearing a skirt and a rainbow lanyard around his neck, it's like... why do you think I care about your sexual preference? Instantly turned me off and instead of waiting to open a new account, my wife and I left immediately. Sad when a company starts hiring people not based off their skill but based off their skin color or sexual orientation.

I had an extremely negative experience with the front desk clerk here. From the moment I approached the desk, the clerk was unhelpful and displayed a dismissive attitude. My initial request was about why my account closing unauthorized. Instead of assisting me, the clerk immediately became accusatory, claiming I was being dishonest about why my account closed and impacted my credit negatively. This accusation was completely unfounded, and I was deeply offended by the clerk's unprofessional and disrespectful tone.
Beyond the unwarranted accusation, the clerk demonstrated a clear lack of competence. When I attempted to clarify the situation and provide the necessary information, she seemed confused and unable to process even simple details. She couldn't locate my file in the system, she gave me incorrect information about the process, she didn't understand my questions. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, the clerk offered no helpful solutions and essentially dismissed me. I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and completely unsupported.
This experience was incredibly disappointing. The front desk is the first point of contact for any business or organization, and this clerk's behavior created a hostile and unwelcoming environment. Her combination of accusatory behavior and incompetence reflects poorly on the entire BECU. I would strongly advise management to address this issue and provide their front desk staff with the proper training and customer service skills necessary to perform their duties effectively and respectfully. This encounter was not only unpleasant but also a complete waste of my time.

So when I picked becu as my bank it was because my step father recommended them. When I went to talk with the employees they told me that this bank supports D.E.I. hires and invests in it. This was a instant turn off for me however still made the choice. The other reason was because they was local to me while my other bank wasn't. After my move was final I lost my debit card. I had to update my address to get a new card sent to me. I was told ten days plus another five for my card to arrive or I can pay some money and get it faster which I found to be strange. I waited two months with no card in hand so I called back. Turns out it wasn't ordered like the person said it was the first time. Finally my card arrived. The instructions state simply make a purchase with your pin so I did and it was declined. I finally called them to see what's wrong. They stated they have to active it every now and then and I should be good to go. I went for the second time to buy something. Once again declined. Then I found out I need to go to the actual website, not the app to change my pin so i did. Finally I was able to buy something. However today i received a letter from BECU with a PIN to my card. How in the world was I supposed to know I'd get a new pin. No one told me or seem to know. Honestly it's been a struggle with this bank.

Incredibly dishonest people. I can tell you, the default setting is to sell you a variable rate loan (2 attempts) telling you its xxx interest, without telling you it's variable rate. Typical scam, it's what they do. I can tell you also, after taking care of my parent for 8 years, and over 550 hours of unpaid family leave, they will berate you online for caring, they will berate you for being poor, they will berete you for making poor decicions, but in the end, these folks will berate you for anything. I have the receipts, never in person, but via email, you are worthless for taking care of your parents at end of life, they enjoy that.

I love the CU. They offer many services including safe deposits and withdraws just inside the building. Everyone is always kind and friendly along with quick service and informed staff to assist you with all of your banking needs despite it not being a "Bank" but a CU they offer great options such as credit building cards to assist those whom do not have bad credit but simply no credit. Along with all your other basic financial needs. Good area. Highly recommend this location
