Love Costco... but today we walked in to return an item that was in our hands and a lady at the door ran after us, stopped us and questioned if we were members. My husband and I laughed before we thought it was a joke and sure enough she wasn't. She made us show our membership card while being very rude! Clearly... having something in our hand to return an item wasn't proof enough.

THEY GOT RID OF THE CHURROS I always go to costco so that I can get my lovely cinnamon covered churro at the end. Now I have no desire to enter the costco now that I cannot get my shopping prize. #bringbackchurros2024

Today my service dog (in training) came in the store like we typically do every weekend; the front greeter Cristine aggressively harassed us and said my dog wasn't really in training. She literally yelled this at us. Not only was I embarrassed but I am extremely upset because I pay to shop here and we have never bothered anyone and my dog still needs more refinement with what I need her to do BUT, she is calm and stays next to me. With the women yelling at me, it totally threw my dog off her focus and that is what makes training more difficult. Every dog is different and I have no problem answering questions when I am asked in a respectful way. This lady Cristine should not work in customer service. We did talk to some management and they have been very kind and assured us that they would handle the situation. I hope this doesn't happen to another customer again because it definitely has changed how comfortable we feel shopping at Costco..

This is a typical Costco, nothing to write home to mom about. The staff is friendly. The items are there, and of course they are moved every few days so that way you have to hunt the entire store for things. This section is always good and your value is always there.

Costco changed their customer service culture recently. if you want use food court, you should waste your time to use longer way from entrance and pass a heavy traffic ( sometimes you are part of that) on cashiers and after that you'll arrive to food court. Waste my energy, waste your employee energy to describe why people should use entrance and waste your strong management abilities to solve the problem. It is really ridicules. If I want return something or use customer service desk, how do you want stop me and send me to entrance after that? Has costco changed their management team? Costco was 5 star for me!

We go to Costco 2-3 times a month. Have never had a rude employee or really any negative experience. We buy food there, and eye glasses, cell phones, tv, speakers and pretty much anything we can. We even get some of our prescriptions filled there and we get flu shots etc. too. One exception to the "no rude employees" - one of the guys who give shots is really rude. But we love Costco, no complaints here.

Extremely poor customer service. I came in today to purchase an iPhone 14 pro max shouldn't of ignored the red flags... I was standing in electronics for about 5 mins had to go out my way to find the electronics guy. Once I do I ask him if I can purchase the new phone he says sure of course sir I receive the ticket and head to checkout now the proper thing to do once I'm at the checkout stand. (would be take my ticket go to the back and check and see if it's in stock.) they don't do that they have me pay almost $1,400 for them to tell me after I paid actually were sold out! If you guys would've just said "hey were sold out at the moment we'll have more in stock later sorry for the inconvenience" i would've been on my way. But the salesman boasted and acted like it was in stock and I'd be walking out with one in my hands how heartbreaking.

I have to echo the sentiment about rude employees. Due to the incredibly dumb design of the restrooms you have to access them via the exit or fight through the check out lanes since any unused lane is chained off. The elderly, female employee checking receipts yelled at me for going through the entrance asking where I was going. I replied that I was going to the bathroom. She responded I had to go through the entrance. Poor customer service and I felt like she was on a power trip. All hail the Costco Receipt Checker! I'm not worthy of your most important job and thanks for delaying my trip to the bathroom!

This Costco shows the perfect example of racism still exists in America... Asian are not allowed and shouted by staff when trying to reach food court through exit but white family go through it without being asked and bothered when I was stopped. Not sure why being treated by Costco racists staff but it is really safer not go through crowded shopper and line before I could buy food at food court.

Today I picked up an script from Burlington WA Costco's Pharmacy. The cashier, Kathy, was exceptionally patient answering all my questions and making suggestions. Not all employees are so patient with their customers and I told Kathy she should be made employee of the year. When there is so much impatience and anger with each other out there in the real world now, it is nice to find an old fashioned customer service agent that reflects the best upon her employer and herself. I hope Costco HR realizes that employees like Kathy are the gold standard and the reason we are loyal to them. THANKS, Kathy for great service!

Was in Costco on 9/7/2021. We were checking out in the self checkout area, and felt like we were Criminals, the Employee who was covering our bank of self checkouts was RUDE, and kept saying you can't put that there. If you have boxes why can't we put one in our cart to put what we paid for in it. She needs to be re-assigned to stocker where she wont be interacting with any people. Or better yet, FIRED.
