Very disappointed. I purchased a new 2023 Kia NIRO. When I got home, I noticed an open safety recall on my app. When i got my new plates, I asked about the safety recall. No one in service, so no answers. Asked about how to use my digital key and get it set up. No one in sales knew how to do this. I took the car in for my first oil change. i get it back, the safety recall was not fixed. The car was not washed, not vacuumed. For a $120 oil change, I would expect that. Service had my car the entire day so the argument that it was too cold (freezing) to wash the car in the morning is not valid. So, I have had my car for 6 months, still have an open safety recall and still can't use my digital key.

I’ve had my Kia for many years and love it—no problem there. Sales was very helpful to me when I got my Sportage back in 2017.The service department however… horrible. This is not my first issue with them but this is the biggest. My motor went out the day before the 4th of July (a recall issue) and immediately we got it into the service department to be seen as they had time. I understand that there’s lots of other people having the same issue and they’ve been backed up with work.We were told different timelines over and over again through July and August and finally we were told it would go in the 7th of this month (September) after being told multiple other dates.My husband drives by everyday to work and yet my Sportage is in the same spot it’s been since July—not in the shop. Our calls are ignored and never returned (this has been going on for weeks now—after they told us it’d go in on the 7th last month we never heard another word) and there’s no one to help me get a loaner car.While we managed to get through in the beginning, they would take our message to report to whoever is in charge of these things and that person NEVER returned a single call. Now they just ignore us all together.They’ve had my car for months and even if things were backed up, I wish they would communicate that to me instead of ignoring me about a problem I did nothing to cause. This recall is Kia’s mistake, not my own. I’m tired of not being able to drive and struggling to get to work every day and wish I could have an honest timeline at the very least. A loaner would be even better but I don’t see that happening since they can’t call me back. This entire situation is causing problems with my job and I can’t afford to lose it. They should be helpful while fixing this mistake and this entire experience has been awful. I need my car back or to be given a loaner since they seem to be planning on keeping my car forever.

This dealership has very unethical advertising practices. They send out misleading flyers for a “Walmart Gift Card Giveaway” that has a “winning” scratch off number for a cash prize. Of course, the fine print then states this isn’t actually the case and you have to go into the dealership for a drawing. A complete scam designed to get people into the dealership. I wouldn’t recommend giving your business to a place like this.

I got a flyer from on them in the mail, saying I had won $2500. Turns out it was a scam. The flyer was deceptive and instead I got a $25 gift card to their repair shop. I wouldn't trust them to fix my car because they have false advertising and are deceptive.

Been trying to start a warranty claim for over 2 months with no progress other than "we can't prove it wasn't caused by you". They've basically ghosted me, will never answer my calls or return them, and really just wasted hours of my time and got me nowhere in my effort to get my car fixed. They had me drive there (40 minutes away) to just take a picture, only to forget said picture 2 weeks later and have me send them one when I called them back (after hearing nothing for 2 weeks). I have a 100% valid warranty claim and this is the worst experience I've ever had.Dealership: if you're seeing this, you can see my name. I'm in your system. 2020 Kia Niro.Update: got a call back over two weeks later again saying my claim was denied. Called Kia, they said dealership inspected it and the broken button looks to be scratched and caused by me even though I clearly stated nobody even touched the button and it's fully cracked. However, the dealership forgot they even looked at my car because I had to send a picture to them myself.

Sales person, Ryan Berlandi was super helpful: knowledgable, patient, kind, went out of the way to get us exactly what we wanted, and never pushy. It was one of the best car buying experiences we've had.

I had to take my daughters car in to have an engine replaced. Avery and her team in the service department made a potentially horrible experience into probably the best experience I have ever had dealing with a dealership service department. She not only kept me in the loop as to what was going on but also had the car back on the road with a new engine within a few days. I cannot express how pleased I was with their exceptional professionalism and customer care. Thank you for being so great.

Highly recommend this team and Noel in particular! Noel worked with us consistently for a few weeks while we waited for the right car to become available. We really appreciated being able to do all our negotiating over phone/text so that everything could move super smoothly when we came into the dealership.

Went in because we got a flyer stating at the very least we’d won a $25 preloaded gift card. We are genuinely interested in a new vehicle and thought why not go see? We spoke to the car salesperson, and we were offered a car at $8000 above MSRP. We said no thanks and found out that the $25 preloaded gift card is credit for the Service Department at the dealership. This marketing technique to get us in worked, but I’m afraid it backfired. We won’t be going back to this dealership when we do make the decision to purchase. In our minds it’s a complete bait and switch. This may work for some people, but for us it was very off putting.

A 1 star rating is too good for Jerry Smith Kia of Burlington. I told the sales rep that I would not qualify for a new car. Backing up my statement to the call I made on Wednesday. However the sales rep ignored me and lied to me too. I did some basic research and Hyundais and Kias are vulnerable to theft. Kias made between 2010 and 2021 are popular with criminals. According to my research, as of May 9, 2023 the "fix" Kia has created is not working. The sales rep was only concerned about a sale. His insistence on seeing if I qualified caused a hurt on my credit. Never will I ever set foot in a Kia Dealership again. Tearing up the useless service "gift" card.

Dave and the entire team were absolutely outstanding. My family and I drove up from Thurston County last weekend after a terrible experience at a different dealership. There was no pressure at any time. Dave was extremely personable, compassionate, and understanding. As a first time buyer, I felt super comfortable the entire time. Dave made sure I got insurance, and stayed late to help me get on the road. Highly recommend this dealership, and it was well worth the drive. When the time comes to buy again, it’s well worth it to me to come back.

The service I have received at Jerry Smith Kia has been simply amazing. Recently they went way above and beyond to get me on the road for a trip.
