We've used Walgreens for almost 10 years so it is disappointing that I'm here leaving this review. The past 2 months we have received nothing but extremely poor and non compassionate customer service.
Last month, I called in a life saving prescription 7 days before we were out. I went up to the pharmacy every day until we had 1 pill left and was continually told that it was out of stock. On the day before we were out the tech told me she would "try" to order it that day. I asked her to clarify if she was going to order it or if she was going to "TRY" to order it. She firmly stated "TRY" and walked away from the window leaving me confused and scared that we were not going to get the prescription filled in time.
This month we're in the exact same situation and the tech again told me she would "try." I reminded her of our interaction last month and she stated she was "fully aware" and proceeded to roll her eyes at me straight to my face. I reminded her this is a life saving medication and I can't just chance it that it will be in stock. She replied with "I'M AWARE." I asked her what we needed to do to ensure we didn't run out and she said she couldn't guarantee this. I calmly stated "That isn't an option for us so I guess we need to change pharmacies?" and she said "I GUESS SO!" and stomped off, again leaving me at the window without a resolution.
Pharmacy tech lady: If you hate answering (legitimate) questions from people who don't really understand how the backend of pharmacies work and if you hate helping people who rely on you to stay alive, maybe it's time to find a new career.

Pharmacy Review: We have been real happy with this pharmacy for 1.5 years now. Nice people, good hours, pretty good service. We switched to Walgreens after a local CVS was aweful when we first moved here.

Poor strategy giving coupons. They do not reduce the offer amount from the current bill, rather will give you a cash back coupon. Ok, buy next time when you go to adjust the cash back amount on your purchase, they will say the amount will be credited to your Walgreens account, but you have to pay in full. Not good, I am never going to visit Walgreens anymore. Enough !!

Came to pick up a fedex package. My last name has 16 letters. The woman giving my package was extremely bothered and inconvenienced by how long my name was. "That's a.....LOOONG name." When she went to sign out my package, she said she would cut my name in half because it was too long for her to take the time to type in. I think the issue is probably her inability to spell or read rather than my name. Be more respectful and if you can't keep your prejudice comments to yourself, don't work with the public. This location is not open to serving customers with names from other cultures. I'm so sorry for bothering you all with my ethnic name. Won't come here again.

Popped in here to grab a few items. The store was well stocked. They have groceries, pharmacy items, personal hygiene items, snacks, school supplies, greeting cards, even alcohol.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

There's always a wait line to check out at this store. Always. It's tedious and annoying. But today, Saturday March 16 at approximately noon, something special happened: the wait line was greeted and acknowledged by a wonderful cashier. I've never seen that happen until now. She engaged with every customer with a smile and enthusiastic greeting. The gentleman before me was trying to apply points for his purchase...an annoying and tedious process...and I had a badly sprained wrist so I was slow and clumsy, but she was supportive and very helpful in moving things along. She apologized to the customers in line, greeting each with a warm smile. (She also gave me some kind advice about using horse linament for my badly sprained wrist, but I was too distracted by pain to pay attention.) She was altogether wonderful. Please give this kind-hearted, generous employee a raise! She exemplifies the best of customer service!!!! I am having a miserable weekend filled with pain and unable to use my right hand. I accepted that nothing good would happen this day. But boy, I was surprised by the kindness and consideration of this cashier for every customer waiting to check out. She has been the bright spot in my miserable day. Thank you for hiring her, and please, please give her a raise!!!

This pharmacy used to be good, up until around the point Vitaly left. Now, they are so chock-full of people waiting for their vaccines that it takes half an hour, bare minimum, to simply pick up a prescription. It takes a little less time if you go through the drive-thru, but still, the response times are abysmal. The problem is that this *PHARMACY* now prioritizes all the vaccine people, who take precedence over prescription pick-ups. Ridiculous. Don't go here. Get your prescriptions filled at Rite Aid if you want decent service.

They are very nice but INCREDIBLY slow. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten in and out in a timely manner. Something is always malfunctioning.

Its ok as Rx goes. At times a great experience and sometimes a real bummer. One pharmacist really tries to help....others not so much. Once I arrived at 5:45 being stuck in 205 gridlock. I needed 3 Rx that they have filled for about 3 years now...After explaining I live in Carson... the girl argued with me that I would have to wait til the next day since they close at 6pm...the time spent telling me what they can't do...she could have just filled it for me...so there you go.

This review is for the pharmacy. I would not schedule a flu shot or any other vaccinations here. I made an appointment on line and waited almost an hour to get my shot. Ridiculous, why bother making an appt on line if you have to sit there for almost an hour waiting. All other competitive pharmacies I have been to before for vaccinations, give the shot with 15 mins at the most from the appt time. Walgreens has total disregard for their customer's time! I will never go back, and unless you want to wait a long time, you should go somewhere else too.

I often drop off packages at the fed ex counter and today I had an issue with a box. To my surprise MacKenzie stopped to help me when I fully expected her to "sorry can't accept it". It is not too often these days I come across helpful employees who actually care about the customer and go the extra mile. She deserves to be recognized and I hope other employees follow the example set.
