He was very kind, put brand new wheels and tires for me, balanced them, new sensors, and even put my old wheels in my bed.

“I am a Les Schwab girl born and bred, born and raised in Bend, knew his grand daughter and friends and parts of the family. When they sold the business I remember feeling worried. He was a legacy... stand up guy. Oh I remember the les schwab meat days... those were some of the best dang times. Him giving away extra, or giving you the best pepperoni or jerkey you would ever have just because he liked you. You would pull up and someone would already be holding the door open for you treating you with the utmost respect... and the respect went back to the workers. He knew how things went round... in turn made better workers. Helping eachothet makes us all feel better inside... Happy people like to buy thing and Happy works will work hard for you... People like him are very few and far between, specially now. I found the further you got away from home base of Pineville and central Oregon. The service just wasn't always as great, I get everyone has there things going on. But you know people are already having crummy day if they have to come to les schwab or mechanic shop of any kind, not always about buying new tires... and to be handled in such a disrespectful or grumpy tone is the last dang thing you want to deal with... Bedside manner is a big deal, and seriously lacking in todays world...
How I was treated today is what he intended the business to be like... Help when you can, dont nickle and dime people. Don't sell them something they cant afford or dont need just to make a profit, dont hustle them help them! Have variety available for lower price bracket, middle and higher end depending on what you were looking for... But
It was a simple screw in my tire. Luckily the new car we baught has tire pressure sensors and seem it going down to the 20s and well all the construction going on in the area got us... it is our fist car that is less than 4 years old so this acadia was a big deal for us when we baught it last year... we are so grateful... we finally got a decent family vehicle. So like most of us pur cars mean a great deal for a variety of reasons... lol we finally got a bunch of bells and whistles we weren't used to lol. I wasn't sure if they were even les schwab tires... we got ao excited everytime we would figure out something new the car did lol... sorry I love to write lol should have written books for a living...
regardless dropped it off thinking it was going to be a couple hours, headed towards camas to go get a moose tracks from Devs coffee, if you like peanut butter and you havnt had one go right now!!! camas one is the best location... and to hit some yard sales untill it was done and littleraly got coffee and got text 20 mins after we leave I get a message that our car is ready... Im thinking oh I hope there wasn't something wrong that was quick. Get back get my purse out ready to pay, she says acadia right... yep... and she says nope its on us today... just when you get new tires come back lol. I said omg thank you so much and of course I will! I didnt tell her I have been a Les schwab fan for a very very long time. I dont go anywhere else. I have moved Les schwabs a couple times due to moving and all that.. But I think I found my new Home base Les schwabs in Vancouver. For me thats a big deal... Definitely a great place”

“I called close to their closing time with a tire leaking air to see what their cut off time was. The guy I spoke to said if I got there by 6pm, they’d fix it. I got there at 5:50pm, they pulled a small screw from my tire, patched it up, and sent me on my way with no charge. Pretty awesome, thank you guys!
