BUT, here’s the deal: this location in Carlsborg is a hidden gem! Staffed by friendly, proficient, and kind staff (yes KIND, when did anyone ever say that about a postal worker?). The office is hardly ever busy, even when dropping off holiday/Christmas cards and gifts it’s as quick in and out.

Honestly if the service here could be replicated at the busiest Post Office locations, or even in Port Angeles, life would be just a little bit better.

“This Post Office has a true small-town feel that you just don't find much anymore. The staff here is beyond kind—honestly, they are kinder than kind. I go in pretty often to pick up mail that doesn’t fit in my box, and at this point, they know me by my face.
​It’s a great feeling, especially when you’re having a bad day, to walk up to the counter and have them tell you that you don’t even need to pull out your ID because they already know who you are. Whether I’m picking up a package or just buying stamps, they always make it a positive experience. If you want a place where people actually remember you and treat you with respect, this is it. Best staff in town.”
