My lab draws here have always been fairly painless hence the second star. The customer service and professionalism however, leave much to be desired.

The techs doing the blood draws have always been awesome but no one answers the phone. I have to drive there to find out they don't have my order, despite me seeing in MyChart that it was sent. I've gone back the following day only to have a different person take 10 minutes to dig through fax machine printouts, and say, oh it was right here. I have been a patient with chronic and autoimmune diseases most of my life and go out of my way to be kind to everyone involved in my health care. It is very, very difficult to continue giving that much grace to a poorly managed office like this. There is never more than one person working in the office area, hence my extended patience. But there is no excuse for LabCorp to put their staff or clients in that situation. It's become another chronic condition I have to manage!
P. S. Today I've been sitting here for over 30 minutes watching the one office person do their best to deal with the 15 people waiting out here. I've watched a few people give up and leave. The staff is as kind as they can be and then some, considering not everyone waiting is as patient and considerate as I am. Labcorp, you need to do better, I don't know how you keep good employees if you can't have their back.

Horrible service. 1 1/2 hr wait for simple blood draw.

This is the worst LabCorp I have ever been to. First there was a mixup with my orders that took a couple days to straighten out. Then when I had my blood work done I asked about how to do 24 hr urine sample. The girl told me the instructions where in the bag. I asked specifically if it needed to be refrigerated. Eew. She looked at it and said no. Later I looked it up and yes it did need to be kept cold. Then I had to wait a half-hour to drop it off! WTH?

This place is a absolute Let down !!! There is nobody working !!! If the hospital gets a new contract and does not do labs this place is slammed! The waiting area is a hallway. The people that are working can't even give a patient the attention and care they deserve because they are so warm thin! This is the only lab in our community!!! How is this expectable? Things need to change! You walk in and put your information in a kiosk. Nobody is here to speak to you. You have no idea how long you will wait . There is a sign saying they close for breaks 10:30- 10:45 12:00-1300 15:00-15:15 3:00 -3:15 . My son needed blood work waiting 45 min I had to leave . Back with a stool sample to drop off and have to wait to drop off a stool sample ? How ... Why ? Over worked staff can not give the the best care and attention!!! So defeating to see this and be just another number!! DO BETTER THE STAFF DESERVES BETTER THE PATIENTS DESERVE BETTER !!!
MAKE A CHANGE !! This community has no other choices !!!! We are at the mercy of this corporation!!

Reception is snippy and the last thing she wants to do is help or answer any questions. You can tell she does not want to be there, ever. Stood in a hallway while we waited. Place feels like an assembly line. Good luck reaching them on the phone because they NEVER answer.
Hate this place.

I always had great experience with LabCorp in Olympia and Lacey. I went to this one today for the first time, and I really didn’t like it.
The lady looked very unhappy to be there and rushing during the process. She did not check my order, just took my blood, didn’t put in any tube, didn’t ask me to confirm my information on the labels(what they usually do), didn’t notice that I had a urine test, just said that I was good to go. Took literally 2 minutes! It is not something that usually takes too long, but I could notice how she was rushing to finish it, not doing a good job!
After I checked in my chart, I noticed that I had a urine test to do, I went to the LabCorp in Lacey and they told me that I needed to take my blood again, because it’s was not showing done in my profile.
I have no clue what they didn’t with my blood.
I don’t recommend and I’m not planning coming back there.

after a week of trying to fax blood draw orders i had to go and try to get my blood drawn. every time it was sent there was fax confirmation of received. I could not talk to a person through the phone and drove an hour to the facility . the person at the check in was EXTREMELY RUDE and sarcastic . would NOT look to see if the orders for my draw were there . I waited exactly 50 minutes for her to call me up and she started looking . meanwhile my Dr office called me saying she tried to confirm by phone and was put on hold for 25 minutes only to be told they DID NOT have them. as i was speaking to her the check in person finally found my paper work in a random stack of papers ! then i had to wait another 30 minutes to get my blood draw . Total time i was there was an hour and a half waiting to get my blood drawn . there were 6 people ahead of me when i got there ! the extreme rudeness and just plain unprofessional sarcasm of the check in person and the absolute chaos of the system is appalling LAB CORP SHOULD NEVER DEAL WITH ANY HUMAN BEINGS EVER AGAIN ! If you cannot treat people with at least civility and cannot hire enough staff to facilitate some level of professionalism GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS !!!!!

Don't bring your child here it was the worst experience ever there was multiple thing they did wrong. Starting with they didn’t even know how much blood they need, then they used a needle that was the size of her vein and while tlking her blood she had to stop multiple times to check how much blood she needed then after all that happened she just walk out of the room saying nothing leaving us there waiting for a half for nothing thankfully there was a other staff that needed the room if it was for her we probably still would be waiting.

I have NEVER been to an office where I was so disrespected as the "patient," or in this case, mother of the patient! The check-in process is so disfunctional and unorganized. The "Lead" nurse or "receptionist" literally raised her voice at me and made the assumption we weren't in the waiting room when she claims to have called my son's name "several times" and sending text messages, then putting us down as a "walk-out." We sat in the waiting room for over an hour. She made an absolute scene that left my son feeling uncomfortable and me embarrassed.

The worst lab clinic I have ever been too, and I’ve been to some pretty bad ones. Save yourself some time. You might as well drive to Seattle shop stop at Crumbl and be back by the time these guys see you. The workers couldn’t have cared less either. Bad customer service. Waiting room from hell as lady in last comment put but let’s add the flies all over the place. I’d rather go under a bridge and have a homeless person do it and atleast get a smile out of their face than ever go back to this place. Wow just wow !!! There’s gotta be a better way. People are fasting, people have places to be. It was just a drop off sample. The robot got all my info and checked me in already what is the need to deal with a receptionist. That will never call you even if she tells you that you are next.

Is there a negative star option? -⭐️
No receptionist. DIY
Rude workers. Don’t ask questions. Sarcastic is the language spoken here.
Wait for hours.
Sure you don’t want us to draw our own blood while we’re here?
Good heavens! Are they all run like this?
The drive to Olympia is looking better all the time.

Showed up and we have waited 50 minutes so far just to drop off a 24 hour urine specimen. The check in process takes forever because it's a couple of tablets and they expect people to check themselves in. There are elderly folks that stand there for 20 minutes trying to figure it out with no help whatsoever. 15+ people in the waiting room and everyone has been waiting for over an hour. I would suggest your receptionist check people in who are not able to do it themselves, it would speed things up. If you guys are short staffed, hire more staff. If no one wants to do the job, look at the pay rate ad benefits that probably has somthing to with hiring and retention rates.

When did it become the norm for this industry to care zero amount for their clients. If there was a waiting room in hell, this would be it. And the receptionist seemed to fit the part perfectly. Waited nearly 2 hours just to drop off a sample. They didn’t need anything from us once they grabbed it. But we needed to wait all that time just for them to take it. Just because you’re in the medical business does not mean you don’t need to know how to run a good business or business at all.
