Horrible front desk said she’s been there 13 years and there is no one to speak to about applying and doesn’t know anything after that long working there ?

Extremely unprofessional! My sons dr sent us to this lab to have labs done i should have done more research prior to going based off of the reviews. My 3 year old son needed labs for an upcoming surgery. We waited in the lobby which he did totally fine he just looked at magazines. The lady came to the door and opened it just standing there so I asked her if she was waiting for us she responds yeah it’s your turn. So we follow her into a hallway and there is a chair and a computer in the middle of the hallway. She tells me to sit down assuming I was the patient so I sat my son down in the chair and she says ohh he’s the patient??? I responded yeah he is the one. She is extremely standoffish and cold towards us. So we get his weight and sit back down and my 11 year old son who was also with us and spends 3/4 days a week getting treatment at Seattle Childrens, Mary bridge Childrens so he is very chatty friendly and comfortable in a drs office decided he wants his weight taken just for the fun of it and she starts telling him that’s not a toy get off of that etc I wouldn’t say she is yelling but is definitely loud! And then turns back to me upset and grouchy towards my 3 year old. So I told her that if she is uncomfortable with children that we can go get them done somewhere else (as my 3 year old has never had labs before.) she proceeds to tell me no it’s fine the scale isn’t quests property so if he breaks it it’s the drs office property. I said I understand that it’s not just about the scale you have been very unappealing since you realized my 3 year old was the patient so if your uncomfortable I will take him somewhere else. She says no I just don’t have experience with children so again I said that’s understandable but you don’t have to be short and rude with children. She tells me that I won’t be able to get labs anywhere else for at least a week and is very combative and argumentative. I ended up telling her no I am going somewhere else and walked out. What kind of person who works in the profession of drawing labs would ever think a mom would be comfortable letting them put a needle into their toddler when they treat their patient that way. Just not a good experience at all!!!! I will be contacting the quest diagnostics team as well to let them know my experience.

Won't draw blood unless you are a patient of the dr at that facility. Becuz of covid19. So....drive an hour now to a quest facility. Can't use same precautions as everyone else? Pfft

Don’t use this lab they don’t want to help you and tell to go to their lab in Olympia because they don’t want to do their job.

I went to get my blood drawn and got there 10 minutes before they closed. I've been there a couple times before and it doesn't even take 5 minutes to do the draw. Plus, They had NO patients in the office. They said, “She's not even our patient.†Then said, “Sorry, you can come at 7:00 tomorrow because we already shut our machine down.†Heaven forbid you work all the way until 4:00.
