Food Pantry. They change the rules on what you can get without notice. I waited in line for over a half hour hoping to get some food assistance. Food that I can eat. I am diabetic so I can't have a lot of bread or pastry so I go for the protein. Today I was told that I could only get bread and produce. No meat! Thanks but no thanks. My body can't take the carbs. I have also had issues with the staff being mean. No one should be treated like this. I'm sure the companies that donate the food dont know how people get treated.

Awesome employees, go there daily except for on the weekends. I can shower there, get food there, get clothes there, love this place this is my home...

I absolutely love this place, these people are so wonderful and inviting. My kids got the chance to go to camp Arnold this summer and I have to say, they were so friendly and welcoming. The kids got to experience things that they never had gotten to experience before. Thank you so much for everything you do and everything you have done not only for my family but for the community. The photo is of my youngest on the bus getting ready to head out to camp. First time away from home to do anything like this without mama.

This place said they were going to help me and put me on a waiting list. Then proceeded to tell me to come in to speak with someone. But when I called again to make sure it was still ok to come in they said no and to wait. They never called me back I kept calling everyday and got told the same thing. They had lack of communication after saying I was approved for assistance. Which caused me to loose my place. I would say just don’t rely on one agency because they can let you down.

I called the Salvation Army trying to find any information about homeless encampments. Articles had been published in the Chronicle referring to the Salvation Army's helpfulness. After calling numerous times, I finally reached an actual human...who immediately shifted my call to another line. Whereby I only received the generic "leave a message... we'll get back to you." I left a very polite message just asking for a return call. Three weeks later, I am still waiting...

The one girl was friendly who checked you in, but they don't have a large variety of food, so I wasn't actually happy with them.
