Dropped my truck off at 8am and was hopeful as this shop came highly recommended. The AC wasn’t working. Travis, the owner, took my keys and asked me what had been done to the AC. I responded with “it has been recharged but it didn’t hold the charge so must be a leak” I didn’t care what the cost was, just needed the ac to be fixed, permanently, before summer hit. Didn’t hear from the shop and drove by at 4pm, my truck hadn’t moved. Got a call at 4:45 “your truck is ready” picked it up with a near $300 bill for a recharge of the AC unit. I asked the dude working, “just a recharge was needed?” And he said “yep, we checked it out, you’re good to go”
I did this in April with the thought that summer was coming. The AC worked in my truck until July. When the shop was called to say “hey what you guys did failed” we were told it would be two months until I could get in again. So my preemptive thoughts of doing this work before the summer was wasted. I, idiotically, kept my appointment to have my vehicle checked out again by these people. The truck gets dropped off again at 8am and the conversation was that my wife has to pick the truck up as I’m working please give us some notice as she will have to either get a ride or walk down there with our kids. Again, at 4pm the truck hasn’t been touched or looked at. “Travis had a busy day but he’s looking now”
So my wife walks down to this place with our kids. Nothing has been solved, nothing have been fixed, nothing has been done. But we got a quote for $600 to fix a coolant leak. I would have been happy to pay whatever it took to keep my AC going throughout the summer. But this clown doesn’t care about the people in this community who trust him with their business. He cares about the people he knows and that’s it. Unless you’re someone who Travis is trying to be friends with, I wouldn’t give this place business at all.

This place has amazing customer service, and they truly are out to help people instead of raking them over the coals like most auto repair shops. I took my old Honda accord into them, and not only did they get it worked into their schedule, but they fixed my coolant leak and then some! They insisted on keeping it long enough to ensure I wouldn't have issues again! I will be recommending this place to all of my family and friends! Thank you so much, McGregors! The twin city community is fortunate to have such a caring shop, help with such an inconvenient problem!!!

I've got 2014 Nissan Versa, been here multiple times for work, and they do a good job, honest, open to communication, and good pricing. They are booked out a month at times so figure that into your pre booked appointments. Yes no dealership for me, support local businesses these folks do a great job!

Excellent customer support, accommodating my issue of needing to head home [out of town] and leave my car at their shop while the shop was closed. The work done was what was needed and priced fairly. They even met me at the shop during off hours so I could drive out from home after work to pick up the repaired car.

Never made a review negative before but Mcgregors screwed over my family and charged us for it and would NOT take any responsibility for it.We came to this business being told by lots of people that it was a family run establishment. Although it might be family run it is not family friendly. We called saying we THINK there's a problem. Mcgregors said they were really busy and gave us a date they'd be avaliable to look at the car. We brought it in that day THEY chose.1. They did not look at the car before ordering parts.2. We waited 5 months for the to fix the car they didn't even touch.3. The last 2 weeks the car was in the shop they told us it was being worked on, we lived down the road, it was in the same spot that it had been in for 5 months.4. They called us a week before it was done telling us the key fob wasn't working with the car. (Prooving they still had yet to work on it)5. They got the parts and ended up not even needing to use them because the part we THOUGHT was broken wasn't, but they would've known that had they looked at it first.6. They did fix some small minor parts in 4 hours of work and told us it was running perfect. But we still need to fix it.......7. Charged us FULL pricing and when talked to about the inconvenience they put us through couldn't even say sorry let alone take any accountability....8. Told us their mechanic was busy for the last 5 months....maybe you shouldn't accept customers if you're that full.They were FULLY aware I was driving my husband 40 minutes to and from work at 4 AM everyday with our baby for the last 5 months. Calling them every week, because they wouldn't call us. Because we only had one vehicle and they knew that. Not only did we go OUT of our way stressing ourselves and our child, but wasted so much money on gas, had they would of just looked at the car before ordering parts. I unfortunately will not be passing along thd name of mcgregors to anybody else.$800- $360 for parts and $440 for mechanic pay for 4 hours of work and having the cat for 5 months.....
