I called around 11:30 am to have my medication transfered from CA(family trip). I was told everything would be good to pick up after work since I get out at 5 pm. I come to the pharmacy n my medication is not ready. They didn't even start the process. I was told transfers can take up to 48h.. I check my CVS app n it says the medicine was transfered out already. I tell the Walmart employee and she tells me to call CVS. Looking back at it why am I the one that has to do this? Why didn't they take care of this in the previous 5+ hours? I call CVS n they tell me they had already sent out the information. I go back up to the same lady, still collected because I am not one to Karen, she says to me "we have to wait for them to fax it out because they don't take verbal transfers" that's fine but again, why hasn't this been taken care of before I came. She must have expected me to walk away but I said "okay.. well why don't you call them so you're both on the same page and have them fax it over?" She was stunned. When she was on the phone w/ CVS, she played dumb saying it's ridiculous that this wasn't done already and had no idea why.. I am currently still waiting to see if they'll even be able to transfer in the medicine. What was supposed to be a quick pick up because I called 5 hours previously turned into a hassle. Incompetence is one thing but to have bad customer service is not acceptable but oh well.

I am telling you about a really bad pharmacy. If you have insurance and they don't decide to need more information or something before paying for your prescription you can't pay for it even with cash. So if you run out of heart medicine and your insurance thinks it might not be needed you can't get it.

They refuse to call insurance companies to fix conflict yet other pharmacies in the state call and resolve before we even show up for our prescriptions. They claim state laws won't let them yet other pharmacies do in the same state.
