Dave’s Auto is an awesome, family owned business. They do great work, at fair prices and stand behind everything. We’ve had them do body and paint work on our Suburban, turned out great. They have also done a complete Air Conditioning system in my 2011 Dodge Ram, and most recently a new transmission in our Suburban. They complete the work in a timely manner and always come in at or below their estimate. Highly recommend them!

Daves Auto repair shop provided outstanding service. My family and I were on the road and experienced failure of the alternator outside of Cheney. We called Daves auto repair, they made the effort to get our vehicle scheduled, repaired and we were back on the road within 3 hours of dropping it off, and the cost was fair and reasonable especially considering we had little alternatives. the service counter was friendly and they took time to give the vehicle a once over to make sure we were road worthy! I highly recommend this repair shop. Thank you Agnar and team!

I had a head gasket replacement on my 2008 Subaru. Totally destroyed my engine. They refused the warranty and refused payment and replacement work. Didn't have enough money for small claims court. So I lost. 4 years later I had the body repair side work on my 2009 honda accord. 8 months later none of my lights work. I highly recommend to run away from Dave's Auto. They r a rip off. And depend and prey on college students. Stay away from this place I beg of you. Don't believe me check out my stats on views. I know this area and have lived in Cheney for 12 years. I will NEVER GO TO DAVES AUTO FOR ANYTHING EVER.

The work itself was good, no issues.
However the service and timing was not. I kept calling only to hear it’ll be done that day, or the next day, or the following open business day. A week later and several days after it was supposed to be done they finally fixed my car.

When I needed to have a simple wheel bearing replaced, we took our car here because it was local and I didn't want to drive very far. We scheduled an appointment to have it dropped off a week before and when we dropped it off he said he'd have an estimate in about a day. IT WAS ALMOST A WEEK BEFORE HE EVEN LOOKED AT IT. When we called for the estimate he didn't even have it and said he would call back with it before the end of the day and never did. We went to pick it up to take it to another shop and he finally gave me a list of VERY expensive parts that supposedly needed to be replaced and even said it would have taken another couple weeks or so before they could have even gotten to it!
The website said even more complex repairs had an estimated wait time of 120 minutes. It's incredibly misleading. They claim it's " that time of year" but you shouldn't keep booking if you can't get to it or you should at least be honest with your customers about the length of time it will take for repairs. I use my vehicle for work and my family missed out on almost two weeks worth of pay because of this!
I have also managed an auto parts store, so I know enough to know when somebody is just trying to rip people off. I took it to another shop and it was fixed within a day for under $400, when he quoted me OVER $2000! THIS REPAIR SHOP IS A SCAM, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

I brought my Subaru in over a noise that they claimed was the timing belt. They seemed very confident. They “fixed it” and I drove off the lot only for the noise to come back after making it onto a main road. The car broke down and Dave’s auto towed it back to their lot saying they’d “make it right.” They then charged me for the tow, told me that the issue was the water pump, then after having the car towed to another mechanic for a diagnostic, I had them look at it one more time for them to tell me that it was actually the bearings. Dave’s auto didn’t even look at my car. They gave me an attitude about looking at it because they said they would come to the conclusion that it was the bearings even though they didn’t even look at it or listen to it. They literally charged me like $2,800 to fix this car up and I couldn’t even drive the car for 20 minutes. Super scammy, definitely don’t go here unless you know a lot about cars. Definitely don’t take a car that’s made in another country to Dave’s auto either. They can’t handle it. The owner was super rude and defensive about his “40 years of experience.” This was my first car and had lots of life left in it before I brought it to Dave’s. They would tell me that there was something specific wrong with my car and then tell me that they never said that all without even doing a diagnostic. Nothing but gaslighting. They ripped me off when buying the car for scrap too. $300 bucks. They could’ve atleast gave me the money back for the labor because they didn’t touch my car. As far as I’m aware, it was in the same condition as when I dropped it off

My Nissan sat for three years, whilst I worked out of state during the pandemic. I hauled it into Dave's and they had it up and running in no time at an exceptionally reasonable price. I was more than pleased and will be back with any other auto needs. Highly recommended.
