We took our Class C in for an oil change and replace the shocks and a general inspection. Upon inspection, they immediately advised that all 6 tires need to be replaced. Which we did at Les Schwab from there. The entire staff was awesome. No problem getting in and out...same day service!Services: Transmission repair

My dad has taken his truck to Fred's several times for fixes he was unable to do at home and has raved about how responsive /detailed and honest true work for not a ridiculous over price with labor or price, let me tell you when our family only uses Fred's now!! I have taken my cadilice to Fred's several times for large and minor fixes and everything they have given me honest true feedback while explaining things as needed so I can actually understand what's wrong with the car instead of telling me what I need to fix and how much. No matter the challenge my car proves to them they are always willing to tackle the challenge head on. I respect this little family buissness and I mean it when I say you won't find more honest/ hardworking people to work on your car than Fred's. Thank you for keeping us safe with our vehicles!

Gave est of $2000 for catalytic converter and exhaust repair. Took it elsewhere and they did a fantastic job and was only $250. Will never recommend freds again

Had an EGR fail in March of 2020. They replaced it and did an oil change at the same time. While under my pick up the mechanic noticed that my transfer case has a decent Leake. Kathy called me immediately and told me that it needed to be done sooner than later whether it was with them or not. It was not safe to be losing that much fluid. They sealed it and replaced the fluids. This year about 6 months later the EGR failed again and they honored the warranty and replaced again free of charge. I had noticed that I had a very loud "popping" noise come from under my pick up while turning and my overall handling had decreased all happening just within day of my appointment for the EGR replacement. With how busy they are, the made time to tackle a last min secondary issue. They have been up front and honest both times. They will continue to have my business. I heard that Fred's did the automotive repair for the Washington State Patrol in this area, so I decided to give his shop a try since no one else could tell me exactly what was wrong with my piece of junk Toyota 4Runner. He took a look at it and asked if I had a few minutes because he wanted to degrease it to see where the oil is coming from. I've been to five other area mechanics and none of them had suggested doing that, and gave me a range of issues that all turned out to be wrong. Within a few minutes, Fred had a diagnosis on why the engine was leaking and where the oil was coming out of and I finally had an answer. He also told me not to worry about it instead of incurring a $2,000 repair bill. The oil only tend to spew out over 3,000 RPM. I really appreciate his conscientiousness and thoroughness and I take all my vehicles there now. I highly recommend them.

Mechanic who didn't know how to properly work on Audi engines ended up costing me an extra $1000 at Audi specialty shop to find out what was really wrong with the car and fix the damage incurred at their shop.
