Never thought in my life I’d be giving a 1 star review to a gas station. First of all, right when I walk up next in line, the cashier’s face changes as she stares at me with utter hatred. Not sure if she’s ever seen a middle eastern with a beard before but she was looking at me like I was the plague. This woman was on the older side, had white hair, and medically fits the description of obesity. I asked her I wanted to pay for the ice outside and she responds rudely as if she wanted to refuse selling it to me and said “we don’t have ice!”. I responded calmly, “Yes you do I see it outside.” Then she kept saying “No, we don’t!” And I replied again, “But I saw it outside before coming in. Then what’s outside?” Then she replied, “They’re ice bricks.” And I replied, “Yes that’s what I’m trying to buy!” I guess “ice bricks” don’t qualify as “ice” in her world. I’m a nice man and usually am greeted warmly with smiles. However, what I experienced at this shell gas station from that woman, the way she looked at me and talked to me, I have never experienced anything like that before.

The Shell gas station has a well stocked mini mart. During the weekdays, they have a lot of lunch options in their hot case. Small pizzas, chicken strip, burritos, sandwiches, etc. If you arrive early, you may be able to get a breakfast sandwich. A good selection of beverages and snacks. This is the go to place for construction and service workers to grab some food and be on their way.The staff is friendly and efficient. There is plenty of parking and the area is kept clean.

Pretty good premium gas, but lotta lag on the machines. Can’t remember any problems after I put the gas in, so gotta say - they (as a gas station) killed it. They won’t answer the phone after midnight, which really is the only reason I won’t give 5 stars. Felt 3 was decent since the gas worked

Employees have terrible attitudes, Poor service, small selection. If you need gas or good service go to warriors down the street.

I've stopped for snacks at this Shell/convenience store many times coming back from hikes up the Cle Elum River. Last time I got a pretty good sub sandwich there every bit as good as Subway.

Don’t normally write reviews but Bonnie who works here was super rude and refused to accept our visa gift card, she didn’t even try it just said she wouldn’t take it. Then when we asked for gas on pump 4 she proceeded to ask over and again how much gas we needed and questioned if we were sure we needed that amount, as we weren’t sure that we needed gas. What should have taken 5 min took about 20 because she kept pestering us and giving us attitude.And when she didn’t take our gift card, we said didn’t want the snacks anymore just the gas and she said “ok” and proceeded to scan the snacks and charge us anyways. Not sure if she was high or just dumb.

Live out here half time and am a frequent customer. Got there at 6:01 this morning, they open at 6am, walked in to get coffee and said good morning. Got castigated by the lady cook for walking in the unlocked door before the open light was on. She immediately looked at the clock and turned away when she saw it was 6:02. A minute later she came back and made more comments about me "barging in". I said, as nicely as possible, "the door was open". She replied that was for the workers to come in and that the sign wasnt on yet. I continued to makey coffee as she walked away. Another minute passes and she came back again asking me, "who do you think you are...". My patience expired and I walked out without coffee. Just wow, one thing to be rude and another to antagonize your loyal customers.

Really convenient place to get drinks and snack, they even have some hot bar food and the personal size pizza is good too. The employees are always very nice. Only lowering one star because WA winter sports recreation place says they sell sno park permits but they do not.

Got here 10 minutes before close and was locked up with no one around. Waste of a drive. Hours listed til 9p, closed at 8:50.
