Kens Korner Shopping Plaza is a very basic shopping plaza on the south end of Whidbey Island. It is a great first stop and has a lot to offer in the middle of few and far between places. The plaza features a Red Apple Market grocery store, which is fully stocked and has fresh seafood. Other businesses include a hardware store, a thrift store, a pet supply shop, a Mexican restaurant, an ice cream shop, a deli, a bagel place, a nail shop, and a coffee shop. The staff is pretty nice and friendly. Some note the storefronts could use some upgrades, but it is a convenient place to find everything needed. Many recommend checking out the various stores.

Great first stop!! Lots of times when I need something I’ll go first to Ken’s Korder Good Cheer, but I’ve also gone to the hardware store to get tools, or leave packages for pick up. The staff is pretty nice but they seem more expensive than the other main grocery stores on the south end of the island. My family does love the jelly bean pick and fill-up. Yummy!
