Skein & Tipple is a unique business combining a yarn store by day and a craft cocktail bar with live entertainment by night. The yarn store is stocked from floor to ceiling with a super sweet collection of high quality, beautiful, and locally dyed yarn. The cocktail bar is an adorable, intimate, and cozy speakeasy with dim lighting and wood furnishings, transporting guests back in time. The bar offers a very extensive cocktail menu with incredible drinks, including a lot of classic selections and large, strong pours. The staff is amazing and the bartender offers an impressive whiskey selection, making cocktails that evoke sense memory. Live jazz or saxophone music plays throughout the night. The overall vibe is great, though visitors should be prepared for a potential wait to get in. It is a must-stop and an experience that cannot be recommended highly enough.
Hand dyed lovely yarns by the owner and great conversation about them and her business with her husband who operates a bar in back! A unique experience!

Great bar, great cocktails, great yarn store and amazing staff! What we weren't prepared for was the 2+ hour wait to get in. Give yourself a lot of time, especially if you are planning your trip around the ferry. Overall great experience!
