Way over priced but ok if you're desperate. I don't like to wait in line and in the late afternoon or evening the store smells like sewer games and I am glad I don't have to work there.

Costumer service is severely lacking, almost always a 10-20 minute wait, make sure you leave early if you need to be anywhere on time.

The Pharmacy is way under-staffed, doesn’t, answer phone calls in a timely manner, and seemingly doesn’t give a hoot about time sensitive prescriptions. This is not an individual problem, it is a poor management issue.

I have gone to this Safeway many times since I moved to Colville about 3 years ago and I never have any problems here. They have a wonderful selection of grocery items to choose from and I like variety when I am shopping there. Safeway also has really good deals when I shop there whether it is in the store or online. But tonight I sent my boyfriend in to do some late night shopping really quick and we checked online to see when they closed, and it said 12 am (midnight). When I look up times for stores and I see that, I think that they will close then, but the lady that was working (on the receipt it says her name is Cheryl) said that they closed at 11:55pm. If that is the case then Safeway needs to change the hours on the door and online because my boyfriend pushed the door open because it was 5 minutes til midnight and she basically said that his friend couldn't shop and then proceeds to rush my boyfriend through the store to choose three items that he wanted out of the list I sent him with. I am not the one to complain, but I am especially irritated when my boyfriend came back with absolutely nothing that I wanted because the worker wanted to close early and leave early. I get it, I have been there when I bartended and I remember wanting to hurry and close as early as I could so I could just get home but I had to wait til the time we closed no matter what. Sometimes I would have to let people in right at close and they would order a half hour or hour past our closing time. Please change the hours on your website or doors if you guys close at a different time, it is very frustrating when we look online and read a time that is supposedly when you guys close your doors and we get there but the doors are already locked.

Moved to this area just a couple months ago and I'm stoked that I wound up living near this store so I'm able to walk there in 5mins anytime. The fruit is always fresh and every item you find here is always the highest quality food products. The staff are friendly and welcoming and its just something about the warmth of the store that reminds me of being home with family during the holidays - euphoric in a sense! Great store, great staff, great food, highly recommend it!!

Either getting a phone app that actually gives you the prices on the app or returning to honest pricing! (honest [on-ist ] honorable in principles, intentions, and actions; upright and fair)

It's okay. I got food poisoning from the chicken wing bar in the deli. Won't do that again. A big issue is that everytime I go in there I was asked if I wanted to donate to Childrens Hospitals. I asked what Childrens Hospitals. ( I happen to have some experience in that area. ) Nobody could answer my question. I asked if I could get a receipt for my charitable contribution. I was told no and that they didn't do that and there were also other charities not just childrens hospitals. My question is how do you know where your money is being donated or is it? No specifics, no receipt, a blanket of charities but not one was named. Hmmmm. SHADY!

I realize this is a small town but the business title says "cupcakes" I would assume there to be more cupcakes to choose from - the choices were slim and pick-ins. I bought the Lemon Champagne ($3.75), Coffee Espresso ($3.25), and two cake pops. They were kind enough to keep them while I finished my shopping on a 90 degree hot day. When I picked them up my box was sitting on the counter. Hmmm. 90 degrees outside and my whipping creme cupcakes do not need to be refrigerated? The sign said the Lemon Champagne was whipping creme - oh yum! Well, she said it's not real whipping creme but a butter creme so it did not need to be refrigerated - one star off for false advertising. Whipping creme is whipping creme, don't try to call it something it isn't. After I got them home I opened the box to find that they had smashed my cake pops to smithereens in order to get the box closed - one star off. My kids were so excited to try the cupcakes. My older daughter tasted the Lemon Champagne and said it tasted like liquor. Huh? The sign said the cupcake title was "Lemon Champagne" but the card description did not say it contained alcohol - one star off. Also, the coffee espresso muffin was really nothing special and hardly had a coffee flavor. My other daughter tried a piece of the cupcake pop and said "no thank you." After this experience, I felt that Safeway would have been an equal, but cheaper option.
