Was so happy to find a nail artist with talented art skills after moving to the area. We’ve done acrylics \\u0026 gel on natural nails. Always fabulous.

Avoid this place. They are extremely understaffed and take forever to get to you. We were there over 4 hours waiting for our pedicures. The place is also dated and in severe need of some updating and TLC. The man (the owner and the only male there) had the most disgusting toenails and feet I have ever seen and was wearing sandals. Definitely not something that you want to see walking into a nail salon. I'll start by detailing the pedicure experience. They allowed our water to get cold while we waited on them to make it to us. The lady that finally made it to mine was extremely rough, rushed through it, and she hurt me numerous times. The person I was with and another customer that I didn't know commented on how rough they were and that they also had hurt them. She didn't even scrub my right heel, nor did she remove the cuticles or rough skin on my left toes. She cut one of my toes and caused it to bleed. She cut my toenails down almost to the quick, which I hate! She barely left anything to polish! They didn't have the matching regular (toenail) polish to go with the gel color I had chosen for my finger nails, so I had to find something "similar". The lady that polished my toenails (a different lady) started (literally) the polish a quarter of the way up my toenails. I have been told by people that work in this industry that doing this is a tactic to make you have to come back quicker and have another pedicure/manicure. It looked obvious and terrible, so I told her to start farther down on my toenail. They didn't put any lotion or exfoliating scrub at all on my legs, only my feet. No hot towel, either. They also cross contaminate. In addition, the regular polishes they use are extremely cheap. I literally saw the brands they use at the dollar tree. I did not see one professional brand in the place, such as OPI, Essie, etc. For the manicure: Firstly, you have to tell them that you want a manicure, otherwise, they don't touch your cuticles. They trim and paint your nails only, unless you tell them you want a manicure. A lot of nail places are doing this, which is ridiculous. This is a racket to get more money out of you. A manicure should be a standard part of getting your finger nails done! When he went to cut my nails down, my hands naturally shake just a tad. This aggravated the man, and he told me "I don't need any help from you, I'm holding your nail". I can't help that my hands shake a tad bit. Then, when he got to my thumb nail on my other hand, he had my skin in the clippers and was about to cut. I pulled my finger out, because I was not about to let him clip my skin! He got SO MAD about this. He threw down my hand, rolled his head and his eyes, and flung himself back in his chair. I said "I'm sorry, but you had my skin". He said "no, I don't". HE DID! I almost walked out then and there with my nails jacked up, because it pissed me off. I cannot describe how rude he was. Even my husband commented on it. Had I not been with someone else, I would have left. Now, besides all of this, I will say that he did a good job on my fingernails and did not hurt me. However, when I went to wash my hands, I noticed that they had only one scrub brush that everyone was to use, and it was not in barbecide, fungicide, or anything else, just stuck down in a cup for everyone to use. I am pretty sure this is a health violation for nail salons. I also noticed he was only rinsing the tools and such he was using on everyone, with nothing but water. He wasn't washing them with any disinfecting type solution. Furthermore, the water at the sink has to be shut off by him, because you can't get it to turn off, otherwise. I would NEVER go back here. I had to go home and re-do my pedicure.
