About Anderson Point
Anderson Point is a stunning wilderness campsite known for its beautiful and clean surroundings. The campground features spacious tent pads, bear lockers, and benches, offering better amenities than many paid state parks. It is accessible via a 2-mile hike from the south Baker Lake trailhead, which is mostly flat and scenic, providing views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan on clear days. The campsite can be busy on weekends but is often quiet on weekdays. Visitors can also reach Anderson Point by boat from a nearby launch. Overall, it is a lovely spot for an overnight backpacking trip, with easy access to the water and picturesque scenery.

This has to be one of the most stunningly beautiful wilderness campsites I have ever seen. Between the bear lockers, tent pads, and benches, I’d honestly venture to say these are better campsites than what you would find at a paid-for state park. Not to mention the incredible views and easy access to the water.

Nice view but water is not easily accessible. Usually it's very crowded on Fridays and weekends.

Restrooms: Pit toilet with no walls. Bring your own T.p.
