We stayed at this KOA last fall while we explored North Cascades National Park. Nice RV park with great amenities. We upgraded to one of the premium spots and the patio with Adirondack chairs and log bench swing were nice additions.

Grandy Creek KOA is a great place. ALL Staff works very hard to make everyone stay awesome. I'm not someone who has only been here one time, I've been coming for over 5 years and always happy. It saddens me to see review of people complaining about stuff when I know there doing the best they can. Thank You Grandy Creek Staff. :) The Menzies

With the imminent close of the 2023 camping season, we had time for one more quick trip before winterizing the Grizz for year. Previously, we had made reservations for the Grandy Creek KOA, but we were forced to cancel due to extenuating circumstances. However, we remade our reservations for the campground, and were not disappointed.Experience the beauty of nature nestled at the foot of Mount Baker, with convenient access to North Cascades National Park, Baker Lake, and the serene Grandy Creek flowing by the campground’s edge. Embark on a day adventure to Bellingham, the San Juan Islands, or British Columbia and explore the stunning Northwest at your leisure.Getting to the campground is really easy if you can follow directions. But use caution if you are using Google Maps. Using Google Maps will send you up Baker Lake Road, and there are limited areas up there to turn around. From Interstate 5, head east on highway 20 for about 23 miles. Take a left on Russell Road (just past Baker Lake Road), and head straight toward the mountain. After approximately 3/4 of a mile, you’ll find the campground on the left, with a giant yellow KOA sign.Check-in is painless. After turning left off Russell Road, you’ll be greeted by a two-lane entry. Take the left lane to go to the “guard shack” and get checked in, with the right lane being secure entry for guests who have already checked in. The nice lady at the guard shack took our names, and gave us the map and other documentation for the campground, as well as answering the few questions we had about the place. We opted for a premium pull through, and navigating to the site was fairly easy, even though some of the interior roads are a bit narrow. For example, I would have liked a wider road where we could swing wider to pull into our spot. The site we stayed in had a beautiful old pine tree next to it that required some careful maneuvering to dodge both the tree and the cement patio (with fire pit, chairs, etc). We ended up disconnected the toad in the middle of the road, as well as moving some of the furniture, to make the needed wide turn in to the spot.Once we were in the spot, all was right and good with the world. The gravel spaces are mostly level, and minimal work was needed by our levelling jacks to get the Grizz solidly planted.Utility connections were a breeze. The power connection was a clean 50 amps as reported by my tester and the Hughes Power Watchdog that we use for the connectivity. We noticed no brownouts or other drops during our stay. This being the weekend after Labor Day, the park was approximately a little over half full, so that may have contributed to the power cleanliness. The sewer connection looked to have been recently updated, sporting a PVC screw-on connection for our Camco right angle adapter. If you don’t know, this gives you a solid connection when dumping, without the need to put a rock or have someone stand on the connection to prevent spillage. No poonamis.Water pressure was good, and with the pressure regulator that we always use, we had a steady 40psi of clean water.

Not bad, not great. Only a few issues during our stay. Our campsite was littered with cigarette butts when we arrived. Fought pesky little flies our entire stay. They shut off the water to the park on Thursday morning, found out when I couldn't flush after using the commode in our trailer. There was no notice of the water being shut off. Did enjoy visits to the local area, the town of Concrete, Baker Lake, Bay View on Padilla Bay.

Awesome staff and campground. Hands down one of the best places to setup camp for a week or longer. Nice bathrooms and shower facilities, even has an actual store where you can purchase items, including a BBQ area where you can have a BBQ. Nice amentities while camping. Highly recommend!!!

Stay far away from this place. Rundown, dusty and noisy. The worst part is that they have a large Karen in a golf cart obviously trying to raise revenue by arbitrarily charging people for "speeding" with just her eyeballs to measure. I never drove at an unsafe speed in this place. After the confrontation with the nasty Karen, I followed her and two others going much faster in their golf carts than I ever went. Is KOA corporate aware that these people are running this scam to pick the big motorhomes and see who ignores the $50? You cannot call them on their phone. Went to t he office to protest, and was told somebody would call me. Nothing. As a full-timer, I've spent a lot of money with KOA and never run onto anything like this. There are plenty of other places in the area. Go to one of them.

There are tons of cedar and fir trees all around the campground. And mountains surround the area in three directions. It's a very easy 20 miles off of I-5. Just don't even think about going over the 5 MPH speed limit or you'll get screamed (not yelled) at by a very enthusiastic employee.

Nice location. Wonderful welcome and setting however, we were in one of the two worst sites, that sat over the septic. Three sets of two raised covers that were fenced in, took up a good deal of site space. Could not enjoy the outdoors without noticing an odor. There was also some trash at our site when we arrived. Seemed a bit run down.

This has been one of our favorite parks and have not been in a while. This park has really gone downhill. The favorite TT sites along the field were mostly taken by employees. A lot of the TT sites are now KOA so limited TT sites available. Main dump is “out of order for the season”, grass wasn’t mowed (lawn mower broken), boats and old RVs parked in the field the kids used to play in. Sites taken with old RVs and lots of “junk” surrounding them. Bathroom and clubhouse were clean. It is so sad to see what has happened to what used to be a beautiful park and one of our favorites.

We love it here at Grande Creek. We come every year multiple times a year. My six-year-old ad 16 year old always have fun things to do and find new thing everytime we come. My six-year-old says this is one of the best pools for all the thousand trails that we've been too. We really love their dog park My dog is able to be taken off of her leash and run around and do her business. She gets so excited to walk it up to the gate. We will definitely come back this summer again we've already been twice this summer.

We have a 42 foot 5th wheel and had no problem maneuvering it in the park. Easy to get level (no different from other parks where jack pads are needed to keep your wheels on the ground). We weren’t on full hookup and didn’t mind one bit. The staff here are wonderful, keep everything clean (restrooms cleaned multiple times a day), the pool is well maintained and the outdoor equipment for kids is in great condition. Families having fun everywhere. Can’t beat this with the proximity to North Cascade National Park. This was a great escape! Thanks!Playground: Great! Safe and well maintained.Restrooms: Very clean and well maintained. The showers have plenty of hot water, well lit and clean. The staff here works hard to keep it that way (despite some people who apparently don’t know how to use a toilet).Dog-friendliness: Great dog park. Lots of dogs around and plenty of room for everyone.

Not a terrible place the spot we got was a bit out of level tires came off the ground. Plus side is it all bills paid less than 900$ monthly. The lady on the phone was very nice.Dog-friendliness: Small but manageable dog park. But plenty of grass to walk if needed

On a very busy weekend, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The kids loved the pool, jumping pillow and mini golf. Our fire pit was newer. I can tell they are working hard keep up with maintenance of the campground. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Our stay here was sooo very comfortable. The campsite is well cared for. The spaces are spacious. We were here for 5 days...We got to visit the Northern Cascades. We also walked in Rasar State Park. We also reccomend eating at the Birdview restaurant just across Highway 20.
