“It's clean and well stocked. Not like the store that handles the locals that speak primarily English. But actually that's no longer true because most of our residents are Mexican nationals and most all of the Leprekons help as well as management are Mexican. The Caucasians from here are the minority here. But that store is not well stocked nor does the staff give you the attention that El Jazmins staff do. They're primarily there to sell foods and goods from Mexico if I wasn't so used to American goods I'd stop going to the Leprekons. They really stick it to their customers with their over pricing. It's shameless of what you get for a hundred bucks. Barely two grocery bags full. I used to be able to fill my fridge and cupboards for $150. Last me a month. But that has been reduced to getting me through just a week. But El Jazmin is priced for people who need to make a dollar stretch. The only things that are pricey are their specialty juices, their coconut water and their bottled pops . The rest of their goods seem to be reasonably priced. And they have a lot more of a selection to choose from. Good people working there. Willing to help you get what you need. They're polite and friendly to all the customers as you come in the door. Plus they have a little area where you can order up food to eat as you shop or have a sit down with a buddy for a lunch break. Good food but it's Mexican.. not Caucasian food venues. Still it's good. Just ask them to hold back on adding the peppers. ? Or that's what I do anyway.”
