First, I want to say that the couple who owns this 23 acre beach right property are absolutely amazing. They tried so hard to make things special and right.
The property needs ALOT OF WORK things are falling apart, rooms are extremely outdated, and grounds are really unkempt.
There are not too many fancy places in that area, and I can only imagine what it'd cost to get the place looking perfect, fixing the bridge to beach, and upgrading everything. She even stated its just too much work.
But, again, nothing in that area or neighboring areas has really been remodeled. Not sure why, because its def a touristy area. But- obviously the land was purchased long ago, makes enough income to get by, and its just not that easy.
The pool was cool, but not heated. Jacuzzi is the kind at someone's house in 90s. Lots of fun games and stuff, but some are falling apart. Cool sauna! The beach access is a bit of a walk, but AMAZING. Noone but Beachwood Resort can be in thst area. If you can imagine, serene perfect beach all to yourself. Got amazing photos.
Rooms had carpet beetles. Kids made me go home 10pm. Owners were still there. I showed them. She felt so bad. Gorgeous woman. She offered to clean the rm, offered 100$ towards another stay, candies and other gifts... I really didn't want to write this, but I think its important for consumers to share their experiences.
I wish for this amazing couple the ability to update and fix things and maximize the potential of this property with so much to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at Beachwood Condominium. The place has a very homely feel, with a full kitchen that made things convenient. The beach was easily accessible through beautiful grassy sand dunes. There’s a small canal with a wooden bridge that could use some repair, though it didn’t feel unsafe. We heard they are planning to add a skybridge, which will be a nice upgrade in the future. The owners are super friendly, and while some parts of the property could use improvements, it didn’t bother us. Don’t expect picture-perfect luxury—it’s more casual, with a 1990s-style vibe, but very comfortable. We enjoyed all the facilities—pools, clubhouse, hot tub, and snooker. We also loved having a pit fire to cook our dinner. This was our second stay here, and we fully recommend it for families with kids.

This place is ok. For what you pay and the space you get its great. Having full service kitchens in a unit is always convenient . The rooms and beds are spacious and my family of five fit great. The beds in my unit are comfortable and there is plenty of bedding. I slept soundly. It’s quiet here. The units themselves and the grounds and amenities are extremely dated. This place is old. Also the owners are obviously struggling to keep up with the updates, maintenance and cleanliness. They are kind and helpful but can only do so much. After visiting Ocean Shores as well and seeing the quality of the hotels in the area I’m sad and disappointed because the entire area seems to be pretty run down. Everything is old and it seems like nobody can afford to keep it looking nice and clean. Also I want to note that the beach access here isn’t a safe route. There is a bridge that is going to break at some point and someone might get hurt and they will definitely get wet. If you are over 200 lbs I would not recommend using it.

What an amazing getaway for our anniversary! This property is ran by the nicest couple, who clearly invest 100% of their lives running this beautiful place together! We were greeted with warm smiles, offered plentiful snacks to stock our full kitchen, and were given a brief introduction to the resort. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to our room. It was clean, and instantly felt so homey! We instantly settled in, and started exploring the area. Our entire stay was perfect, we cannot wait to bring our 3 kiddos to this place. The pool is awesome, it has a cute little playground, horseshoes, a workout center, a clubhouse, and the beach is a quick 5 minute walk away for all day entertainment. I regret not getting the owners names, I cannot stress enough how lovely they are!

6 min walk from our condo. Clean, welcoming, kid and pet friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

I want to give this place 5 stars so bad. My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The place it self as a whole is amazing. Pool and hot tub were great. Lots of stuff for kids. Playground, pool table, ping pong, shuffle board, and beach. The old couple who own it are super nice and it’s really affordable. Only problem is, it’s way out dated and the rooms are super outdated. 20 years ago this place was probably the best. Bed in the rooms is really hard and furniture is super old. We are definitely going to come back to this place. But we talked about it and we will definitely bring our king mattress topper and a Roku stick for the tv in the room.

What an easy place to unwind! Kind of a flashback in time, a welcome one for us. Each apartment is spacious and clean. The walk to the ocean beach is a treasure itself, a trail over a little foot bridge and through the dunes. There are only 100 snowy plovers left in WA state and many are protected on the beach just outside this trail. You can walk for miles in either direction. I couldn’t find my jewelry pouch when I got home and called the office. They went back and moved furniture to find it had slid behind, and mailed it quickly ~ all carefully packaged. This would be a very fun place for a multigenerational gathering. That’s our plan!

The rooms are quaint and the area is near the beach but not directly on it, atmosphere is private and plenty of space for dogs, fire pits, or any relaxing activity you're into. It's a bit isolated, which is great if you're trying to get away from busy city life. We saw the stars at night, which says a lot. Hot tub, sauna, and plenty of amenities. Pool was drained while we stayed, but it's a sizeable one. Location is on well water and septic tanks, if that matters to you.

This seems a family welcome establishment, featuring a game room, hot tub, seasonal swimming pool. A workout area. Dated horseshoe throwing area. Picnic tables. Child's playground.
Furniture and features seems dated. Could use an update. Seems they need to know ahead of time for use of the sauna & hot tub.
No one ever seems to be in the office area.
Before check in, in fact 2 days before arrival they tried to process payment without notice. We contacted them inquiring why, it was said they won't be there on our arrival date.
The rooms did not seem musty as read in reviews. It is by the ocean so that may be why. Wifi can be weak, but I'm sure it's in the main building. And rooms are actually several buildings spread out.

I was disappointed by the rooms, and wish I looked at the reviews here first before I booked.
Like mentioned in some of the previous reviews, there is a smell from the water when you use the sinks and shower. Musty/dusty smell in rooms.
(I got febreze and cleaned extra with lysol wipes on surfaces before I unpacked.)
We had 2 cabins, and there were some unusable lamps.
Dishes in kitchen were gross, so make sure to wash before use or use paper plates.
Chose not to use the sleeper in the living room since I saw little pebbles on the sheet when I opened it.
Doesn't have an overall clean feeling and the upkeep of property needs work.
Otherwise, I think it is a good location. I like the concept in mind and the set up has potential to be a great place for families.
The rec center , the hot tub, the pool, and the gym would all seem like great perks if there was some maintenance, cleaning and upgrade on fixing some of the broken things.
The staff all seemed very pleasant and kind.
I hope some restoration can happen here because I think the area was great and again, love set up on this property.
P.s. the trail to the beach isn't difficult. You have to be cautious on the little bridge if you have Littles, but it's about a 5 min walk. I enjoyed it and loved the views.

If you don’t mind musty smelling rooms, and piss yellow water from every faucet, and crazy overpriced, looks like a trailer park, just GROSS!!!!!!!

The rooms were not amazing. The buildings were a little run down and need some updates, but still charming. There was a great activity area with several amenities including a pool, hot tub, sauna, pool table, corn hole, and several other games. The staff provided excellent customer service.

Run! As others have stated, smoke alarms either don’t work or aren’t there. Room was beat up and in poor condition, beds uncomfortable, couch was almost unusable. Appliances were falling apart. Place was ice cold when we arrived. Rodent issues are present and obvious, and likely bad levels of black mold. The room smelled awful, and caused all of our stuff to smell and required us to wash everything. Hot tub lacked chemicals and was too gross to use. This property is not safe to stay at, and beach access is not safe. Vacation was cut short due to all the above.
