Coulee City Community Park is a nice little campground and park. It is a cheap, clean, quiet, and family-friendly place with a beautiful view. It offers easy access with no booking required; visitors just pay cash on arrival, and it is open 24/7. The park features a good swimming area, a cute playground, a beach, picnic tables, and a loading dock for boats. Camping is available with quite level sites and options for all types and sizes. There are some cons: the swimming area is rocky, requiring water shoes, and the ground in the picnic area can be messy. Restrooms are only available in the summer, with pit toilets in winter, and there are no showers. A nearby service station and a little bistro across the highway offer good coffee and food.
Pros: cheap / easy access/ no booking required/ just pay cash on arrival/ open 24/7
Cons: no showers / toilets are only available in the summer and we went mid April so they were closed.
