“Love this place! Joe has great wines and a huge variety of styles and prices for every palate and budget. We are so fortunate in Port Townsend to have such a gem in our town. Whether it's "something special " or something inexpensive for drinking every day, I go to see Joe.”

“Update: As of Nov. 2023, I'm happy to report that everything is still awesome here. The Old Bistro still has very good food, the amazing Whidbey Island Pies, and excellent service -- and, all at very reasonable prices. The Greenbank Farm Wine Shop next door is still a great place to do a few sampler flights and buy some unique wines - some only available there. The UPDATE - buy your marionberry pie at the Old Bistro, a la mode, and take it to the seating at the wine shop, then buy a flight of wine and make sure to include the Loganberry desert wine. Now, here's the fun -- pour the Loganberry desert wine all over your pie and ice cream. Yeah, baby! That's a nice slice of heaven. Then, buy a bottle of the above and a whole pie of the above and play the home game! And, yes, I speak from experience. My QA Team and I don't recommend anything we haven't thoroughly sampled! ;-) Also, don't forget that they usually have the marionberry pie in GF or regular -- and the GF is as good as any non-GF pie around. if not much, much better. Hands down.”

“Delicious pie and a delightful wine tasting! We did the flight of wine. So glad we did! The ambiance was amazing. We bought 3 bottles of wine. Be sure to t ry the Huckleberry wine! So many choices of pie. It was a hard decision! You could get a slice, baked pie or frozen pie. Next time I want to try the Whidby pie shop in Langley!”

“Great place that stays open late, which is really nice because nothing else is open in the entire city. They also have really good fresh donuts every morning and a great selection and a very friendly staff and it's a good overall feeling.”
