The gentleman who helped cut my wood went out of his way to ensure I got the most out of the wood I bought as I needed several specifically sized pieces. His brother works cashier so it's nice to see it's a family friendly place to work as it feels like that helps with overall employee happiness.

A completely different experience the last three times I have been in. The ladies in the paint area were so nice and very helpful with the questions I had. Additionally, Jerome today helped me in the hardware department and was so helpful and nice :) he made sure I got the discount even though they were a few pulls short. Great service, very happy with my experience recently compare to the past few years!

We were able to get our order canceled thanks to Mary. She even refunded us for the custom items which were part of our flooring order. We would have gladly ate those costs as businesses normally don't refund on custom items. Good thing we canceled as my husband is out sick for a week.

The worst customer service experience I've ever had!!! Will not go there again. Most of the employees are lazy and don't know anything, coupons are not working...

Could not find anyone to help look for a certain item the entire time I visited nor would anyone help. Granted the employees do not get paid enough to care. Management is to blame for this mess of a store. Avoid like your life depends on it.

I work for a very large Seattle area construction company and have a company card. I'm required to submit receipts for tax audit purposes. If I don't turn one in, it comes out of my paycheck. I lost two Home Depot receipts last week, for almost $400 combined, so I was going to have to go to each of the two stores to get them. These stores are on the opposite ends of the Seattle area, where traffic is horrific. This would have been a 3-4 trip, minimum, and not the way to spend a weekend day. I was shopping at the Covington store and as I was checking out, I figured I'd ask if they could print my receipts, despite being a different store. The guy at customer service called a manager, Ian. When I told Ian what I wanted, he said he didn't know how to do that, but he would try. What a CHAMP! It would have been SO easy to just say, "oh, sorry, I can't do that." I would not have known. It wouldn't have made me mad at him or Home Depot. But he didn't. He spent the time to figure out how to find my receipts with the info I had (date, store, amount, card), and print them for me. The way I look at it is this: Ian spent 10-15 min of his time to give me back my entire Sunday. I hope your District Manager (or whoever is above you) sees this and gives you a raise, promotion, or pat on the back. Maybe all three.

Saw that a step stool was on sale. Went in to the store, but found out the deal was only on line. Went home and tried to order, but sine the item was less that $45, I had to pay a shipping cost that would have brought the total up to more than if I paid full price. This is just a con to get you to buy more stuff when you don't need it. Very disappointing.

They refused to put together patio furniture for me. They told me to how a handy man.. and calling the store is ridiculous, you will be on hold for at least 30 min.

If you don't accept Apple Pay then you should not advertise that you do. I had forgot my wallet but had my phone. So, checked online and was released to see the HD accepts Apple Pay and I can grab the parts needed with out making a return trip. When I got to check out I learned no dice. Apple Pay not accepted. The cashier was apologetic and mentioned that he doesn't know why the leave that advertised on the door when they don't have the capability to accept Apple Pay. HD you need to get this straightened out.

Don't force your customers go through the trouble of creating an online account to reserve a rental tool (that shows available) only to immediately cancel the order and refund the deposit due to non-availability. In addition, they will show delivery avaiable until you're ready to checkout (which also requires online account) only to then extend delivery out 1-2 wks during checkout. Very poor service that makes you think something is avaiable when it isn't.

Not a bad place to shop if you can find what you need on your own or get through the CONSTANT congregation of 3-4 employees having a kiki at the self checkout instead of helping customers.

I moved into a new house and immediately looked into options for re-keying the doors. I contacted a few places on Yelp, but it was expensive to have someone come out to change one lock. I read online that some Home Depot offered re-keying services and when I called, Jerome in the hardware department said that he'd be glad to help us out and that we could ask for him by name when we got there. When we got to the store, he cheerfully helped us find the right parts and replaced the necessary parts in the lock. We received wonderful service, a secure lock, and a bunch of new keys for about 10 bucks. You are a gem, Jerome!

Quinton and Justin saved the day! They both went above and beyond helping me with a return and saved me a trip back to HD. Thank you two for your kindness, excellent customer service and positive attitude! YOU two are what keep me coming back to HD. THANK YOU!
