I have ALWAYS had such an issue with the Deli department. Constantly being ignored or they are short staffed or whatever their reasoning is, the customer service in the deli is god awful. The deli department is by far the worst part of my shopping trips followed by the constant lack of inventory. Like they never really recovered from Covid. I started going to a Fred Meyer cause although their prices are not better at least I know they will have what I need.

Had an issue with our rewards and Daniel went above and beyond to make it right, refunded and re ran the whole order and never rushed us or made us feel bad for wanting to get it right.

Great fresh organic produce. The hot bar is great also. Sometimes they repeat the menu too often, but still a very good place.

I bought a $110 Vanilla Visa Gift Card at Covington Safeway. Right out of the package the card number on the front was already scratched off. I cannot activate my card. It looks deliberately scratched off. I feel scammed I cannot get a refund even with my receipt. I called and got a ticket number but nothing. II don’t know what to do. Should I call the local news or file a complaint, and have BBB help me get a resolution to my problem?

Rant: I've had repeated issues with the young girl working in the deli, with quality and customer service. I buy food for a family of 6. That means it's quite a bit of food. When I ask for a WHOLE DOZEN, she either gives me 6 or 8. Not once has she given me a dozen of what I asked for. Also, when the fried food is super old and only a few left, I ask for fresh, and she always has an attitude about it. Customer service is your job. And as a union hand, YOU SET THE STANDARD. I've been union for 10 years, and I take this very serious. If you don't like your job, or don't like customer service, I suggest you find another job.Lastly... if the customer asks for something specific, that means you do your best to provide that service. It's in your agreement as a grocery hand (I worked in the grocers union in my past life). Nothing infuriates me more then someone working a position that someone else will do better, and wants the job MORE.PS: when I ask for fresh, that doesn't mean drop the old in with the fresh to fill my order, and deceive me into thinking I paid what I asked for. Don't think I didn't figure it out once I got home.

There worked not professional, i work in a customer service too, but never seen something like that. Was in the line for cooked meal, wanted to buy some Cooked food, but for 10 minutes no one watched me and the woman just slowly moved the sushi, although she saw that there was a queue of 5 customers. There are jot enough people who can help you, want to ask a quick question you shoul go to customer service. Dont like service.

I was in the Deli at Covington Safeway yesterday 8/24, the lady behind the counter was amazing, she had great recommendations and even better customer service. I wish I had her name because she deserves a personal shout out. I have worked retail over 30 years and I truly appreciated her input and attitude. She should be in charge of training employees on customer service..?

This was my third times in the Deli for the last 2 months. The first two-times were okay. Always one employee working behind the counter. today, during lunch rush hours only one employee is working, while three customers waiting to be helped I asked if he can help us. he’s told us to wait and completely ignored us. So yeah, not going back there again!

I know it's common in fish, but bought some salmon from here and one of the filets had live white worms in it. Hopefully, they're taking care to not cross contaminate while handling the fish and to keep fish at the correct temperature.

I normally shop at the 4 Corners Safeway in Maple Valley, but I stopped here to do some shopping since I was in the area. Shopping in-store is often difficult for me, due to chronic pain in my feet. By the time I was done, it was apparent I was in pain, hobbling out to my car. As I started to load my groceries, a box boy stopped and offered his help, which I accepted. He said his boss noticed it looked like I was having difficulty, so he sent the box boy out to help. I was very impressed. Both by his boss (manager?) and by how friendly and helpful he was. I’ll definitely shop there again.

The staff at this store are amazing. They are pleasant and pretty knowledgeable about what is in the store and where things are located. Last remodel, they narrowed the aisles. Meanwhile, they continued placing standees around the store, blocking them. There are places where two carts can't pass and never mind thet it makes it difficult for the disabled to get to product.The way the pharmacy is run, it is like it is an afterthought. There are meds I have used for years and will continue using for years, yet they are not usually in stock.
