“We’ve had a great experience at Kid’s Country. The staff is attentive and cares about the kids. Our son is always excited to go back and see his teachers and friends. We really appreciate the structure they provide, along with plenty of play and learning opportunities.

The facility is clean, safe, and organized, and we’ve seen real growth in our son’s social and emotional development since starting here. They also handle things such as meals and potty training support. The staff is open and friendly and works with parents with potty training and behavioral issues.

“Our 9-year-old son has been at Learning Land Kent Campus for 2.5 years, and we've had a consistently positive experience throughout his time here. We've seen him grow, thrive, and truly enjoy his days. Every time I dropped him off every morning, I always noticed Miss Tai and the kids who were there were welcoming and excited to see and play with him. ---and as a parent, that's everything when you see your son is happy and looks forward to being there.

Over the years, there have been some changes in staff and management, but all of them have been for the better. The current management, Miss Christa and Miss Morgan, are very organized, communicative, and genuinely involved in creating a safe and enriching environment for the kids. Just recently, they're working on renovating and updating the indoor/outdoor campus.

The teachers -- especially Ms. Christa and Morgan played an important role in my son's development and also in our community. Thoughtfully planned family activities are age-appropriate, creative, to help the kids explore and learn, and engage the families.

We truly appreciate the regular updates, photos, and open communication from staff, which helped us feel connected to his daily experiences even while at work or busy life schedule.

The team is dedicated not just to childcare, but to building a strong community.

They were incredibly flexible with my schedule, and even though we were only going to be there for two days they treated me and my baby like we were regulars. “We are delighted to send our 4 year old son here for summer camps. He did full 2 months of weekly camps this year. All Teachers and the owner of the place are exceptionally kind, warm, cheerful, welcoming and radiate positive energy that has a great influence on kids.
The classes are full of activities, learning, music, dance, arts and crafts, games..a great exposure to all forms of learning. Our son looks forward to going there everyday. Few times during pick up they involved the parents in some fun activities with our kid and they were totally memorable experiences for us.

This course was extremely helpful and provided so much valuable knowledge about espresso machines, crafting high-quality lattes and espresso based drinks, and even some creative and fun drinks.

He made sure everyone in the class understood the techniques, answered all of our questions, and gave us hands-on experience that made a huge difference in our learning. “There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this place is! My son has been at East Hill Kindercare for almost 2 years and we have really enjoyed the experience. Ms. Abby (Director) is always there for parents and you can tell that she loves being in the class with kids too! She is just amazing!
All the teachers have also been a blessing in my son’s life. He comes home talking about them all the time. As a mom, the most important thing for me is to see my child happy and enjoying his time at school, and I can say for sure he gets that everyday! He has also learned so many life skills, communication and academics!

“Sooo my sons been going here for a lil over 2years. I am so glad they've replaced the front desk lady.. the previous one was kinda rude. The new one is knowledgeable, kind, actually talks to you like a person.
All the staff are really kind, helpful, understanding. My son can be difficult but I love that they've helped be consistent in potty training him with me. The classes are smaller for them to easily play, learn, grow at their pace. They are super helpful with making sure he's transported to school & back safely via the bus. They have also made sure the back fence, for outside play is locked so there's no escapees as they are near a busy road.. However my son and I really enjoy going here. My son has grown soo much here and I totally appreciate the staff”

He has disabilities and has needed various accommodations throughout his life. The staff members have always carefully listened to our needs and done everything in their power to help my son learn, grow, and thrive. I am always amazed watching them adapt to his ever changing routine. My son has so much fun and has hit many milestones with the help of the staff. “The team here play a huge role in my child’s development just in the short time she’s been there. She’s taken care of, allowed to express her self and play with other kids her age. They offer dance and gym classes for my child which she loves and has inspired her personality so much here at home. “My child has attended here for almost a year now and I cannot express how happy I am with the quality of care the amazing staff has shown our family. We suddenly needed full time childcare and we were able to get our child enrolled quickly and smoothly. I feel like the staff here have helped so much with the development and overall happiness of my child.

Not only has the staff been taking amazing care of my child, they also help us deeply when we first started. Entering daycare for the first time can be a scary experience for the parents as well, they supported us and reassured us so much through the process that they made us feel comfortable and safe there. They showed my daughter so much love and attention during her first few weeks and adjusting to daycare, it honestly made the process easier on our family. I’m extremely thankful.

The staff have always shown nothing but love, care, and excitement for my child. My child has food allergies and other needs that have been easily accommodated, such as needing speech therapy. Being able to coordinate her sessions during work hours was such a relief that gives us the opportunity for more family time outside of school!

Aside from my personal experience here, some of what they do that I enjoy as a parent:

-each month is a new theme that they have, they teach different things depending on the months theme, monthly news letters give transparency on what the students are learning about, fun activities, and spirit days!

-scheduled activities, daily routines posted in class so you can see what your child does throughout the day.

-companion app (love this) that you can easily communicate with staff. Not only that, but the staff communicates with you. They will tell you what you child had to eat, about diaper changes, when/how long they napped, and my personal favorite, they share photos, videos, and blurbs about what your child is doing while in their care. You can even add other family members so they can see just photos and videos, or everything if you want!

-In house made balanced meals, my child has tried so many new foods thanks to Kindercare

-attentive staff. Teachers who aren’t even my child’s teacher know her name, will say hello to her, it’s amazing

-VERY GENEROUS grace period for payment.

I know child is always in good hands, I know she is being fed nutritious and balanced meals, I never have to worry. I know my child is safe, happy, smiling, having fun, but also learning! She comes home with new skills and shows us, and it’s all thanks to the caring and loving staff.

If you are looking for childcare, I would highly recommend this place. As a mother, my daughter is my world. I can say I feel good about leaving my world in the kind hands of Kindercare.”

They got my son in fast we're not pushy or blowing me up with sales calls while I took my time making my decision and when I was ready they made me feel secure that my son is safe in their hands. “Love this BH center! My son was here from the age of 2-4 (early preschool, preschool, kindergarten prep). All his teachers were amazing at every single grade level. They made him feel loved and they really cared. Even to this day, when he visits (he’s in kindergarten), everyone greets him with big hugs and so much love. The facility is huge and there are over 600 kids, but even the staff at the front greets him by his name. Our daughter was in the infant class and her teachers were amazing as well.

My child developed a passion for art and love for learning here. He was incredibly prepared for kindergarten. Also, fwiw every kindergarten teacher that we talked to (when searching for schools) said BH kids are always well prepared for kindergarten.

The center itself is a great space - I especially love the outdoor space. There is a ton of greenery. The location is not at all convenient for us anymore but we cannot find another daycare that is comparable. It’s also one of the few/only daycares open from 7a - 6pm near us. It gives us a lot of flexibility.

“Great people, good Union. Check the other locals to see what fits your needs before you sign up though. This local puts you on a 4 day week while you go to school. Other apprenticeship programs do school a week at a time so you can at least collect unemployment while you're out of work for school. 46 has a lot of work though, in 4 years I haven't been laid off for more than a week and have had a lot of overtime. There's also distance to consider (commuting cost) and book cost. You can't choose WHERE in the local you're going to work. They charge you about 800$ per quarter for books and tuition. Some locals don't do that or the union covers it. The retirement and pension are strong.The program seems to attract great electricans to teach, they are electricans though.Not professional educators. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Office staff is top notch.”
