“The previous post is so far from our experience. Our daughter is a first year student meaning she stayed home with us as we were determined to keep her out of a dsycare.. a few years back our when she was like 18 or 24 months old,my wife would now exactly her age as she is 5 now, anyway we enrolled her in the Montessori school not to far from her present school. I had the privilege of having to drop of my baby that I've spent every day and night with sense birth.she was in shock hyperventilation pounding on the windows unfortunately I had to be else ware...as I left in tears at my incomprehensible decision pulling away one day a sobbing mess I decided that was enough or parental instincts were telling us rethink or plan AL together. we chose to stay at home and sacrifice all we knew. back on subject from day one we were asked to volunteers being in the class's helping with testing busy work like pre cutting out pieces for art projects helping at fun raisers scholarship parties in fact parents are encourage to show up and run with the kids on mile club days once a week.. this school we found had better scores than most matched with parents that held the same standard in what are children should and should not be exposed to..yiu school is outdated but the school is very much and I can't say this enough family based and is more than effortless to volunteer at. Miss your experience is so far from ours I tend to think yiu may be holding a slight grudge..although it's a public school and the attention ladder as far as the social ladder and the way the children treat and befriend one another is a bit concerning..I think the school has the power to mold these children in the art of when we all get along life is so much easier and more fo filling and makes a100% better learning environment. instead of watching a child be left our or have negative attention brought upon them in a group setting at this age is a life altering personality mark and with no redirecting from a adult with some tactfully role playing can quickly in less than 3 minutes resolve the peace and prove that getting along is better for me as well.. the curb to stop bullying needs to be addressed I feel at this young age and not over looked by way of not having a 24 hrs a day connection with the children so there mental state is not in the curriculums and a huge mistake..would it be fair to judge a child who stand on a lower step and has been tormented all day then grade him on a test later their brains are so focused on this social ladder I'd be surprised if a child in this per dick ment would spell his or her name right.. more mental attention to the social ladder and let's have life long strong happy healthy kids. I'm just saying. Go Cougars.”
