We love Dakota Creek, such a challenging and beautiful course. We have our company golf day there every year and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It's old fashioned and less formal than other courses but if you just want a beautiful and fun day then Dakota Creek it a place you should go. Pam is the best!

Course was a pasture with crazy fairways…difficult to see ahead , uphill climbs, impossible to find your ball if not on fairway. Extremely high price if you want to rent a cart (I think Pam was at the counter and said $40 per player for one cart)…so when I said you want $80 for a cart …she replied “you don’t play much”. She was an owner and not pleasant to customers. She was really angry when I asked if this was the old winery. Saying they stole their name, and customers, etc. we quit after 9 as it was awful there. Sorry very disappointing to play there.

This was one of the most negative golf experiences I had in my 20 plus years of playing. It all started with the rude older lady working in the clubhouse. Which is an old barn that I believe she may live in. Right off the bat she starts questioning us about our experience and why we would travel so far to play at Dakota Creek. She then threatened us with $500 dollar fines if we got within 30 yards of her greens. She also told us that she left the sprinklers up and not to touch them or we will be kicked off her course with no refunds. I was attempting to buy a candy bar and she told me she didn't care about that, then charged my buddy for my candy bar. She was insanely rude and weird. She let us know that she was packing a gun and had her ammunition displayed on the counter. The course was in terrible shape with a super confusing awkward layout. It was very difficult to find your way from hole to hole. One of the tee boxes had some sort of cemetery, which I'm hoping was a pet cemetery. Oh and weird creepy stuffed animals and dolls littered throughout the course. It was like a scene out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The greens were ok, but incredibly small and some had mole mounds littered throughout. Maybe if it was $30 bucks, but its not it was $58! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Very challenging links course. Fairways are burnt out now. Greens are in good shape.

Great views, but the holes are too narrow and wonky.

The owner was truly one of the most shockingly rude people I’ve ever encountered as a customer. I’ve only golfed a handful of times in my life but was just there for fun and the enjoyment of the gorgeous land. My cousin, on the other hand, was a state champ golfer in high school, just out of practice since Covid began. The owner was so terribly rude and made me feel guilty for paying by card because it meant she “had to get up.” She kept repeating “you aren’t golfers are you?” I maintained that I’ve only been a few times and my cousin very politely said she’s an out of practice former state champ. The lady would not let up on demeaning us and making us feel like garbage. We both had significant anxiety until we got out further from the club area, further away from her terrible energy. The course had very little signage and the map was not very helpful. I would return (only for the natural beauty of the course) but would hold firm and not be as nice as I was the first time if she’s as rude as she was the last time. I would give 3 stars for the course (lack of signage and clarity bring it down) and -5 stars for the demeaning, incredibly rude owner.

Course has some amazing views and would actually be really dope if they took care of it. The owner is extremely disrespectful and apparently it's a known thing that her attitude is disgusting. She seems unhappy and needs to sell the course to someone who actually appreciates the business.

Unacceptable behavior. Im getting married soon and my mom came in to ask if they host weddings, Pam absolutely belittled her. She demanded eye contact from my mom, telling her “look me in the eye when speaking to me”. We are Mexican, english is not my moms first language, which caused her to nervously fumble over her words the minute Pam became so condescending. Pam then told my mom to be “forward” and “make eye contact with her” when speaking to her. How is that any way to speak to someone, let alone a customer? I don’t care if you were having a bad day, you CAN NOT speak to people like they’re children Pam.

It's pretty challenging but the fairways are super dry and the greens are very slow and mushy.

Dakota Creek is a mom and pop course meant for a golfer of at least intermediate skill level. Tight fairways, small greens, elevation changes, and the occasional water hazard punish you. Not a long course, just over 5100 yards, this course makes up in slope. The greens were not in good condition. Some fairways were burnt. #1 at 415 yards is short for a par 5 and #9 at 230 yards is short for a par 3. Fun course! Looking forward to playing here again.

My first time there was great! The views are amazing! The lady that runs the place is very nice. The coarse is well managed and maintained for what it is.

Great pricing for groups and a nice quiet course. Perfect for a round of golf in the spring sunshine.

I've never golfed before so I have no clue what to compare it to, but the staff was great, the views were breathtaking but my dad said the course was a bit confusing and probably too challenging for a first time golfer. But I had a blast.

This is by far my favorite place to golf in Whatcom county. I love the many clever challenges that this course offers. Favorite hole(s) 2 & 18. The rates are fair. The course is kept and it's a nice and peaceful atmosphere. V
