This a super small Safeway but it is stocked very well! You can find just about anything you need here. The selection of produce and meat is very good! And as always Safeway runs lots of sales. But what I like most of all here are the employees! This is the happiest friendliest group I have ever encountered at a Safeway! They always have a smile and are so cheerful. They don't treat you different because you are from out of town. Every customer seems equally important! Great place to stop!

My safety concern is now they've delegated it is the customers concern to bring masks if they forgot them they don't need the customers business they should go home or buy one that's OK for people with money I suppose for me I'll go down the road I'll spend my cash there safeway is big enough where they can come off with a couple pennies for the public I don't go out to spend money but when I go out I spend money I find reasons to spend money in my community and when they won't give me a mask I won't spend money Therefore I'll find a reason to go down the street and not use safeway are use Davenport grocery store in the long run you will employ less customers with this policySo sad I am new here and I am not a normal maybe this is the reason

This store carries a very low grade of meat. I spent $20 on two rib eye steaks that looked good in the package but were tough and had a lot of gristle. I cook steaks pretty often using Gordon Ramsay's technique and I have great results. I was really disappointed.

We moved to this town 7 months ago. We love Safeway and literally went to one every day just about at our old house in Lacey, WA. Our first experience at the Davenport Safeway was not good. So we decided to give Family Foods a try and LOVE it there! I have to go to Safeway since they have a water refill machine. My complaint is most of the employees at this chain grocery store are clearly from this small town and if they don't know you, they treat you as such. Our cashier who I have had a few times (Nicole Landsled) didn't say hi, but instead started talking to the guy behind us, and then when my CC was going through, she turned around and started talking to the people in the other line. My receipt had printed but I had to wait for her to turn around from yakking and give it to me so I could go. Ridiculous.

Not only is this a great little store with a really good selection, but the people who work at this store are top notch! My husband and I unloaded our cart in a hurry and left my wallet behind in the cart on accident. We returned about 30 minutes later and someone had turned it in (100% intact), and the store manager left me a message at home about it and put the wallet in the safe. When I stopped to see if they had it, he even verified by checking out my ID before letting me take the wallet.

Decent option for groceries when you're traveling. We stop in here occasionally coming back from longer trips to grab a snack or any items we know we'll need once we get home. The selection is not amazing at this location, but they do sometimes carry items that our local grocery store does not.

I tend to stop here when I'm passing through. This place is an old school Safeway so it is fun to reminisce. The soda is always cold and they have good prices on snacks for the road.
